Yes, OMG! This place serves wonderful food, although we knew in advance that it would. We'd stayed here once, many years earlier and this restaurant was great back then as well. The owners, Kevin & Jen have brought some great cooking talent onto their staff, and the results are evident in everything on the menu. We dined here twice the week we stayed, and both nights were incredible. The first night I had a venison dish served in a blackberry puree that was wonderful. The second visit I had a London Broil entrée that just melted in my mouth.
If you visit this place, regardless of the day of the week, don't forget to sample a plate of their oysters on the half shell. They are fabulous as well. I also had one dessert, which was a chocolate ball-shaped cake that was somehow stuffed with a minty ice cream...wow!
This place is truly worth a special visit, if you can make it. It is the best!
