Fantastic ice cream flavors, and combinations, floats, sundaes etc. The take away food is very good, just be prepared to wait.

We went there after not going for a year or so. It used to have terrible ice cream. It must have been sold to new owners because the ice cream is now from Gifford's.
It is very good. Will continue to go back.

Incredible selection of the best home made ice cream in NH. A crazy eclectic menu that has everything from buffalo burgers, to wild boar sausage, to the juiciest hamburgers in town. The soft serve twist ice cream is the most popular, but their banana split will satisfy you for the entire day. My favorite of all is their fabulous chocolate frappe, best I have had in my whole life.

The kids love to go to Summer Freeze, particularly after a sports event. Lots of ice cream and sundae choices, as well as lunch specials and fried foods.

We heard about this place on NHPR. The exterior of the place is a bit tired and not someplace I would have expected a very eclectic menu. As it turns out it was an old ice cream stand purchased by someone who knows how to cook! We went not for the ice cream but for the "street food" menu. They have some very interesting items. We settled on the Cubano sandwich. We love a good Cubano, but finding a good one outside of Southern Florida has been a challenge. Well this place has an excellent classic Cubano. And the hand cut fries were also delicious.
If we had not heard of the street food menu at the place we never would have thought to stop there. They are closing for the season in a few weeks, but we will definitely be back next season.
