We’ve dined at several restaurants in the Common Man family. Each Common Man restaurant is decorated slightly differently. This one has an old-time look and a coziness about it.
While waiting for a table, we visited the Bar 'n Grill which had comfortable couches and served complimentary cheese and crackers. There were also some parlor games.
It was a short wait to be seated in the main dining room.
Friend #1 ordered the Classic Reuben at $10.99. It had lots of corned beef with Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, and Thousand Island dressing on grilled homemade rye bread.
Friend #2 and I both had the quiche of the day and Caesar salad at $9.99.
Friend #3 had the Grilled Chicken Sandwich Grilled at $10.99. The chicken breast was topped with cheddar cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and red onion. It was finished with a choice of maple mustard glaze, hickory BBQ, or ranch dressing. He took the maple mustard glaze.
Everything was great. No complaints on anything which was exactly what we expected at The Common Man.
Service from the well-trained staff was excellent. The place was clean.
Our overall rating of this Common Man restaurant at 4.25.
