We stayed here for the weekend while skiing at Bretton Woods. The proprietor was very accommodating and even made us a special to-go breakfast so we could get an early start on the slopes. The breakfast was very good. It’s a nice property with a restaurant and bar which was nice for relaxing after a day of skiing. The was an issue with the room we had booked so we ended up in kind of a small room for four people but it was fine. I’d definitely stay there again but I would probably spring for a bigger room next time!

We loved our recent stay at the Wayside Inn! Sarah was so welcoming and helpful. Our room was cozy and comfortable and included a delicious breakfast the next morning. We at dinner at the restaurant on site and it was excellent. The service cannot be beat. Great location in Bethlehem, would recommend to anyone traveling in the area (Bethlehem, Littleton or Whitefield).

My husband and I stayed at the inn last weekend and we got talking to the inn keeper, Sarah. She was able to provide discounted lift tickets to Bretton Woods and Cannon Mountain. She has a lot of insight on things going on in town and in the area. We saw her as the front desk agent on check-in, chef at breakfast, bartender at night and housekeeper during the day! It was like staying at someone's house which was extremely comfortable and welcoming. The place was so cute, but my favorite has to be the dining room on the river. Food was so incredible and unexpected!! Must order the chicken parm for dinner and California benny at Sunday brunch. Such a different experience since we had never stayed at a bed & breakfast. We are already talking about when we should go back!

Room Tip: There are rooms in the house part of the inn vs the other building along with rooms with a river view vs street view.

Older property with cozy rooms that have been refurbed somewhat recently. Easy check in process and friendly service! They have a full restaurant, bar & lounge area w/popcorn, as well as a few other cozy living room type lounges. Great place to stay if you're skiing Bretton Woods, fairly close and very straight shot drive. Our one minor complaint was that our room (#10) was right by the main stairwell, so it was noisy as people trekked up and down the stairs. You could also hear the conversations that were happening at the bar extremely clearly, which was an unfortunate distraction when you're trying to get a good rest for the next ski day. I will say everything was very accommodating and the view of the river is pretty special. I would make sure to evaluate your room for sound preferences since its wood floors and thinner walls.

Room Tip: rooms away from the main stairwell to the second floor are much quieter, avoid room #10.

Our family needed a good place to stay for skiing at Bretton Woods. We stayed in the Annex which has large rooms, 2 double beds, a patio and a nice river view. We had a good night sleep, quiet, clean room and beds, good wifi, breakfast was very good. No complaints. Would stay here again. Easy access to Bretton Woods.
