This quaint brewery offers great food and beer to weary travelers. I especially liked the Frail Lady Pilsner and the smoked turkey sandwich. It was so good we came back through and stopped a second time to have lunch after our trip to Las Vegas! Interesting old mill town and friendly locals.

A nice place to go for lunch or dinner. Smoked meats and good sauces and a nice selection of beers. Cute and clean. Friendly service.

We stopped in whilst driving north to Carson City. Hwy 95 is ALMOST as deserted as Hwy 50. Yay were we glad to find this place for lunch. When we walked it was very quiet. We actually thought it was closed. (But the door was open) Finally a nice waitress showed up and said: yes, they were open to eat. We ordered a beef brisket hoagie sandwich which we split as it was so big. Really good homemade potato salad as a side, and 2 tall glasses of house made root beer completed the swell lunch. More people came in to eat after us so we didn't feel so lonely in this very lonely part of Nevada.

Recommended to us & steps from our hotel we could smell the smoked meat wafting through the cool night air. Bar seating as well as bench & table, very spacious with delicious food. My only suggestion is they offer hot coffee/ tea as one does not always want a cold drink especially in March.

We were planning dinner elsewhere, and just wandered in for a beer. Wow. Their beers are outstanding, including my Frail Sister pilsner. Beer snobs may turn up their noses, but pilsner is hard to nail: a good one has subtle and complex flavors, while staying light and refreshing. We ended up eating here, and what a feast! Dill pickle chips, fried okra, burnt ends, chicken sandwich and Ore Cart sandwich (I heard "Ork Heart" and thought, "wow, hardcore!") were all to die for. Four fabulous house-made BBQ sauces complement everything, and allow you to mix your exact level of hot/spice. Our server was busy but took excellent care of us.
