The peppermill is truly a sps resort. The workout room has everything one needs. All types of current machines and free weights. In the locker room there is a lovely steam room, clean showers with everything you need, lotion, shampoo and conditioner and just a few short steps away is the lower pool deck with Jacuzzi and waterfall pool. Go up a few steps and you'll see the mermaid , a larger pool with two more Jacuzzis a beautiful dining area and the poolside bar I haven't made it to the spa yet but it looks beautiful. We had fun at the sports book, placed a couple of bets and have watched many games there. The sports deli has great food but the orders are really large so you might want to split them with someone the rooms are always clean, roomy and very comfortable.

Room Tip: They are all good rooms but if upgrades are available The TuscanTower is gorgeous.

Stayed at the Peppermill based on Trip Advisor reviews and very glad we did. We had a Florence Suite in the Tuscany Tower which was fantastic, we were on the 2nd top floor with mountain views.

This is a huge complex and can be confusing to move around, but they have everything you need for a holiday on site. When we arrived we went to the checkin area and found they have a seperate checkin area for the Tuscany Tower which was great as the lines to the normal check in counters were quite long as we arrived on a Friday afternoon for 3 nights.

Suite was large and well appointed with 2 king beds and a sitting area looking out to the floor to ceiling windows. The bathroom was huge and had a dual head Shower / Spa bath and seperate toilet plus a small TV on the counter with dual sinks. All lights in th room had a dimmer function.

Only things negative about the room was the snack tray which had the weight sensors and if you picked up or moved an item it would automaticly charge to rooms if moved for more than 30 seconds, the fridge was also completely full the hotel drinks which were sensor controlled. We wanted to place our own drinks in the fridge so we called the front desk and they arranged for another mini fridge to be delivered to our room at no cost and it arrived within 10 mimutes.

Another plus was the large and free carpark for self parking, which made coming and going easy.

We tried the Cafe and the Island Buffet while there and found both great value, however they do have many places to eat. The Island Buffet had an amazing breakfast, huge range of items to choose from and all of reasonable quality.

This is one of the few casino hotels which is kid friendly, they also have a large game arcade with plenty of machines to entertain the kids and not to pricey (we put $20 on a card and it lasted about an hour to spend it all).

Staff were nice and freindly. Overall a fantasic stay and would stay again if ever back in Reno.

Just back from a 4 night stay at the Peppermill. Had the upgrade to the Tuscany Suites and thought the room was awesome. Great bathroom, the rest was just average in comparison. Had the pool view on the 8th floor, where you also have a view of the mountains. We've been to many casinos, including Vegas, and thought the casino at the Peppermill was as good as most. We play mainly slots, and thought the variety was good. Read on some reviews about long walks throughout the resort, but compared to staying in Vegas this was very easy. The "long walk" to the casino floor from the Tuscany Tower was about a block or so, and this distance definitely cut down on noise levels.

The only restaurant we visited here was the New York Deli, where we went several times. The food was outstanding, and very reasonably priced. We felt the rest of the restaurants were overpriced, and some are open only part of the week.

Had a rental car and visited most of the other casinos, but Peppermill was definitely the best overall, and there really is no reason to leave here if you don't want to.

This was our first trip to Reno, but we do want to come back some day. If we do, there is no doubt we will stay at the Peppermill.

We had a tuscany florence suite which was a nice room, clean, large and comfortable but the service at the hotel was non-existent. Finding the hotel check-in desk was a chore as they have signs sending you up the escalators to the Tuscany tower desk which was closed. There was a sign there telling you to go back to the hotel check-in. We were constantly looking for any employees to help us but never found anyone. Even the valet parking is automated with no one to contact when you've been waiting for 15 minutes for your car. It took us forever to get a drink at the Terrace lounge although there seemed to be plenty of employees just hanging around.

Thank you very much for your review of our Tuscany Tower Suites. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed your roomy and comfortable Florence Suite. These suites are certainly some of our most popular not only for their comfort and luxury but also for their entertaining enhancements.

We open up a separate Tuscany check in desk on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. During the weekdays we use our main check in counter in our hotel lobby for all of our towers. This works well for us but we do apologize that this made your check in confusing. We will double check to make sure our signs in our lobby are prominently displaying the hours of our Tuscany check in desk to help prevent guests from going up there Monday through Thursday as you did.

We will also make sure that all of our staff are attending to our guest needs in the Terrace Lounge. Cocktail hostesses are stationed in the lounge to provide personal service to your table in addition to the bar for those that prefer self service. We provide nightly live entertainment in this lounge that may have accounted for some of the employees you saw that were assisting with the entertainment.

Thank you again for your review. We hope to see you back again with us someday.

The cleanest, most luxurious casino stay in Reno, NV. We've stayed multiple times with and without our daughter. Their pools are outdoor but don't be fooled; they are heated and available to swim in the snow. If you get the chance, head out there during the night. The lights are beautiful. The rooms are well-decorated and comfortable, especially the Tuscany Suites. We've stayed multiple nights in a row and have been treated well each and every time. If you're into nightlife, the night club and casino are the best in town. During the day, get a day pass for the spa. You won't regret it! If you're on a family trip, you do not have to deal with the night life at all. Either way, you'll enjoy it.

Room Tip: Their tower rooms are very nice, including those with a spa and/or bar. The Tuscany Suites are the best, however. Ask for one overlooking the pool.
