Cigarette smell on entering is a pet - peeve but it does not extend to upper hallways or rooms. Entry light bulb burned out, toilet ran and ran, sink dripped, and outlets were pushed back into wall from use, needed repair. The emergency exit door on first floor to outside in case of fire was locked!

Stayed in a smoke free room and it didn't have the smoky smell like in the casino. The furniture was old and well worn but the carpet, bed and bathroom was very clean! My wife and I usually stay in higher end hotels but if you just need a clean room to spend the night it's fine for the money. The Mattress wasn't the best either but you get what you pay for.
The food in the casino was only average. We ate there more than once because other places close early in town. It works in a pinch.

Cyndi from the players club knows how to take care of her customers. She is very fun and friendly. If you go into a casino you know your probably going to loose however, if you happen to win, Cyndi is very happy for you and helpful. We will be coming back.

A typical hotel/casino combo in a smaller town. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. Check-in desk is in the front area of the casino so very smokey, but once back in the hallway for rooms it wasn't too bad. The room itself was typical with nothing lavish. Room and furnishing showed obvious wear and tear but was generally clean. Bathroom appeared much newer and was also very clean. Room had mini fridge, large flat screen and coffee maker, but lacked an in-room safe. Walls were thin so there is significant noise intrusion from adjacent rooms and from the hallway.
Location around hotel felt safe and was within easy walking distance to several restaurants. More restaurants and shopping was a short, easy drive from the hotel. Death Valley is about an hour and 15 minute drive away.
