“Great place for the price!”

I have stayed at the Orleans three times and am planning a fourth in the near future. The hotel is off the strip, but there is a free shuttle that gets you there in no time. We have even walked back a couple times for the exercise. The rooms are spacious and clean. I really like that there is a window in the bathroom. The spa is very nice and worth the extra money. I had a great time gambling, bowling, swimming, sunning, and dining right there at the hotel. There is also a game room that was quite fun. There was a live band a couple of the nights and people were dancing and having a great time. The buffet at the Orleans is very affordable and delicious! We don't even consider paying the extra money to stay on the strip becasue this hotel has everything we need.

We love this hotel. It is located just off the strip and it has everything that you need.

The staff are always friendly and helpful.

The rooms are larger than most of the other hotels.

The price is right.

Stayed Twice. Don't fall for the $5 extra charge for a higher room, lower rooms are pretty much the same and I've stayed in both. Spa is awesome and I love the 4 Layer Facial. Bell Captians are great and helped me play a trip to the Grand Canyon that suited my handicap. No where else I'd stay. I actually found this hotel through Trip Advisor and was one of the few in Las Vegas that didn't have a bed bug problem.

Room Tip: Don't fall for the $5 extra for a higher room...all pretty much the same.

We stayed here before and got two comped nights when we made reservations! They are very generous that way. My husband had knee surgery so we had some special needs.
We used the free valet parking which was a life saver. We needed a wheelchair and they required a driver's license to hold on to, so we wouldn't steal it I guess. We requested a handicapped room. Our room was #747 next to the elevator and had no view but it was FREE and had all the features we needed. Nice walk-in shower with no bathtub to trip over.
We even got lots of coupons - $10 off a meal - no strings attached. 15% off Sabarro and many more which we didn't have time to use.
The only negative is that as we were checking in, no one offered to help us get to our room. We didn't ask either so I shouldn't complain at all but I was surprised that they didn't offer a bell boy to handle our luggage. I didn't see any to ask so we just struggled with it and made it to our room eventually. The Orleans has a huge theater with 16 full size screens - just like any normal complex. We enjoyed a movie while we were there. Couldn't bring in drinks from the outside but we bought chocolate at the Rocky Mountain Chocolate factory located near the elevators before we went inside. They even have a bowling alley.

Yes, it's off the strip but just a short drive away from it.
We took a cab to the Rio to see Penn & Teller. We made the mistake of paying the cab driver with a credit card and it cost $3.00 extra so don't pay the cabbies with a credit card!

Room Tip: Use the free valet parking.

Very nice hotel a friend recommended. It's definitely off the strip but close enough if you don't need to be on top of the action. Speaking of action there's plenty to do here including a huge bowling alley.

The food is good, gambling good enough, and the rooms were nice and clean. The casino seemed a little smokey but what can you do.

Overall it's a nice place and I would possibly stay again although I'd like to try a few other places. (I've stayed at harrahs and the nugget).
