This is a great place to visit, but a terrible place to stay. A thin door separates guest rooms from suites with pool tables and loud sound systems. The response from the reservation desk? "We have worse rooms. Maybe the people in the suite will stop playing pool eventually." Like me, if you had a great experience at the bars or restaurants downstairs, you figure staying there will be just as pleasant. Not quite. It's certainly not the fault of the people in the suite. They are paying for the amenities and should be able to use them. If you are not staying at the Hard Rock, you will probably enjoy the rest of the property.

Room Tip: Unless you book a suite, don't stay here. You will find the quality of your stay will largely de...

We stayed at the Hard Rock for 5 nights April 2012. Booked via a travel agent for a 'mountain view' room, but were given a 5th floor room overlooking the pool which we were happy with. Room was great, most comfortable bed I've ever slept in, very clean and we were excited. Caught the free shuttle bus into the strip - which was packed, people had to miss out as there weren't enough seats, we ended up walking in most days (good 20min walk) and catching a taxi home ($8-15). Music from the pool would start at 9am every morning and continue until midnight depending on the day. I found this unbearable, even with ear plugs I could hear the music and got very little sleep ins - which are essential in Vegas after a late night out. Everything else about this hotel was fantastic and the distance from the strip was manageable but the music from the pool was a deal breaker for me and if went back to Vegas I'd stay elsewhere.

On the last day of our trip, the butler that got our taxi was very rude, by putting our luggage on top of my legs, because there was no more room in the trunk, I did call the hotel and report it, I don't know if anything was done.......... haven't gone back since then....... overall the trip was fun with my friends, we really had a good time,,,,,,,,, planning to go back........

My husband and I stayed here in late February, 2012. We got a great deal through Groupon. The room was nice, clean, comfortable. The view wasn't great, but we figured we were giving that up for the value price.

The staff was friendly and professional. No complaints here!

Awesome hotel with plenty of things to do! The hotel provides plenty of services to help you enjoy your trip in Vegas! I recommend :]

*The hotel is about 2 miles away from the strip, the hotel provides a shuttle there and back every hour until 5 P.M.

Room Tip: Paradise tower (level 8 and above) has an awesome view of the Rehab pool!
