“Took son for 21st B-day to 4 queens on freemont st”

First, this is not our 1st trip; just the 1st time son's been to LV @21. The 4 Queens is the place we stay on Freemont which offers Friendly staff, older decor, but clean rooms, plus cheapest price at the time. Any problems, the staff does anything in their power to make it right (i.e. from experience). We walked into a room that was smoked-filled and walked straight-out & they upgraded us to a suite for free!! Oh, no matter where you stay ask for a mini-fridge it helps so you can got to Walgreen at corner of Freemont & stock -up on drinks& goodies. There are plenty of gifts/trinkets for $1 & dasani/sodas, too @ stores. Freemont Street was a good spot to take my son for his 1st time gambling (i.e. turned 21). Freemont offers $1 tables along Freemont Street & penny/nickel slots (i.e. 4 queens, Fitz, binions, golden nugget). You just have to ask employees or look for them. Cheap good quality food all-day-long on Freemont st. Lots of incentives if you pick-up hotel club cards (i.e. offer coupons for gambling & food). We never left Freemont. Money stretched far on Freemont compared to the strip (i.e. which can break-the-bank in a day or less if not careful). Four Queens was the best price hotel after New Year’s. We stayed for 6 nights. Money stretched far, free drinks everywhere even if you’re sitting on penny slots. Once son got comfortable and figured tables out, he won a good bit. He also took advantage of the free gambling lessons and the

Room Tip: i always pick a room at the back end away from lights & noise of freemont, unless you want to be...

A great location where you walk out the front doors and are right in the center of the Fremont Street Experience. Lots of live entertainment on street, several good restaurants and brew pubs within a short walk of the hotel, and when you are tired of walking, you are never more than two blocks from your room unlike the hotels along the strip,

Room Tip: Try to get a room in the south tower or on the south side of the north tower to avoid the noise from...

Four Queens is not one of your fancier hotels but....
The room was clean the beds were good the people from the desk clerks to the attendants were friendly. The food at Magnolias is good and reasonably priced. The slots let me play a long time. For the price it enables you to go more often and Fremont Street is where it happens!

Room Tip: We stayed high up on the south side. There was some street traffic but we could live with it.

Fun, easy access to the Strip with all the newer Casinos but this feels good in "Old Town". Nice clean hotel, good gambling, lots of good shows around the Casino, Interesting and a good time. We traveled to Hoover Dam and had a good day there seeing the new Bridge over looking the dam. Nice short stay.

As mentioned in other posts the smoke is pretty bad in all areas of the hotel and casino. Even though you don't see the smoke, its coming through the ventilation and each morning we woke with sore throats and stuffed up noses. Other than that, its outdated but functional. The staff we encountered were very friendly. If you want to go to Freemont street its a good location, but you'll need to deal with the smoke.

Room Tip: If you're on the Freemont side, it will be loud until 2am.
