“Top Notch Hotel”
Reviewed 24 September 2012

My husband and I spent our 40th wedding anniversary at Caesars in August 2012. Everything was superb. The room in the Octavius Tower was beautiful along with the wonderful view of the strip. Very clean, updated and quiet. The selection of restaurants were good. We ate at the Mesa Grill and it was delicious. I think we tried nearly all of the restaurants and with the exception of Serendipity, they were all excellent. We will definitely go back. The staff was wonderful from the front desk, to the concierge to the casino hosts. We went to see Celine Dion and she was spectacular. All in all a fantastic experience.

Room Tip: Just ask for a room near the casino floor, if you don't want to walk a long distance. The staff...

I like this hotel because I like a hotel with a lively lobby scene, great people watching and ease of food and refreshment choices. The room in Agustus Tower was spacious with a huge and nice bathroom complete with all the marble, towels, soaking tub a person could enjoy. Service throughout the hotel was fast and faultless. Restaurants are good and the choices are many. I enjoyer Bobby Flay's restaurant there quite a bit, both the food, service and ambience were inviting. The pool closes early as do many on the strip, which is a bit of a disappointment.

The only good thing about the hotel is the service. The rest, for the amount u pay, is crap! No slippers in the room, no complimentary drinks - not even water! Wifi, coffee or tea all require payment. Card to the door requires rebooting - every night! And to get to the lobby, u have to walk and walk. Not my kind of hotel.....

We requested a non-smoking room on reservation because of health problem. Had a room so smoky that had an asthma attack. Housekeeping came and sprayed room which made it even worse. Room was extremely small, looked out on rooftops, had one chair, so out-dated and blandly decorated. Seemed like we were in a funeral home, very depressing. Management would not move us. We checked out at 4 in the morning, moved to Venetian, where everything was perfect. Don't stay here.

Room Tip: Go to another location. Caesar's needs a good cleaning and remodeling - also need more helpful s...

Caesars has "set the bar" and is a top notch place to stay for us.
My husband and I stayed 3 nights (9/18-9/20.) We were very pleased with our Forum Tower room. The overall experience exceeded our expectations! The kind and knowledgable staff, cleanliness, fun/safe environment, Rod Stewart performance, spacious/elegant surroundings will be hard to beat. We definitely recommend Caesars as a place to stay; can hardly wait to go back again!!
