“Worked well for what I needed”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 March 2012

Spent four days here for a conference in Vegas. Room was comfortable, beds were surprisingly good and the hotel staff met all my needs. Price was the deciding factor in staying here. I enjoyed the fact that I didn't have to walk through a casino to get to my room which was nice considering the location. Didn't use the shuttle as I rented a car nor did I use the monorail however both are a nice service. Desk staff were professional but not real friendly but was treated well. Room was very clean each night when I returned. My only complaint was that the room had a fridge but no microwave which made meals a little complicated if you wanted to stay in. Gave it four stars not because it is the next luxury suite in Vegas but because they met my needs for the price I paid. I would stay there again.

Room Tip: I would get a room with two queens. The single queen rooms have a couch in front of the TV. If you e...

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights and it was a good choice for a short stay in Las Vegas. The queen size bedroom (pool-side, 1st level) surprised with it's size (kitchen, living-room incl.) and the facilities within the hotel were ok, too. The Strip is within walking distance - if you are willing to spend 10-15 minutes going all the way around the Wynn. There was also a shuttle which worked well except for the most favourable times to travel to or from the Strip, because the small van was sometimes full and instead of going twice (5 minutes back and forth) it just asked you to wait an hour for the next scheduled shuttle. Taxi and tram were available, though. Pool was nice and nice to take a short dip to cool down. We also received a parcel by Fedex during our stay. It was delivered to reception and everything went smoothly.

for budget travelers, someone suggested staying at a Best Western, i even appiled for their credit card from barclays, the Best Western rewards mastercard, to catch more points, i have been staying at the Stratosphere Hotel for my past visits and also the Clarion hotel (since they are part of Choice hotels for points purposes) which used to be the Greek Isles hotel,so i booked several days at this hotel, to take the hassle off the guest, they have a free shuttle to and from the airport, a nice perk, not to wait for a taxi cab or other public transportation, i had one free night due to the points i earned from the credit card, and i stayed on the 3rd floor, then they moved me to the first floor for the next 4 paid nights, one night, someone staying up in the 3rd floor (not me lol) left the water running so at 3 in the morning, one of their maintenance guy started banging, yes banging lol on the door, obviously waking me up, thus ruined my whole day, i couldnt sleep after that, he went inside the room 3 times in that hour, he also said to complain at the desk about what happened, so i did and they offered me points towards a free night which was about 12 thousand points, i also like to watch/listen to the tv, when i go to bed, the set up is kind of weird, cause when you are in bed you can barely see the tv, like most hotels, as you can see on one of my pictures, also when you check in, they wont even try to see if there are rooms available, you have to wait for the 3pm check in time, unlike other hotels, like the stratosphere, which i have stayed at countless times, lesson learned, as they say "if it ain't broke, dont fix it" lol back to the strat for me then!

Room Tip: stay in the upper floors if not the top floor, so no noise will be heard from the floor above you, o...

Lovely clean big rooms, couldnt fault them. staff were great (one execption but you get a dippy one everywhere). food good breakfast was bit cold but room temp was freezeing, dinner was basic but good tasting. So easy to get back and forth from the strip with the shuttle why do you need to stay on the strip and pay all that extra. Would go back.
Pool was bit cold for me though.
