I was very pleasantly surprised by this hotel. I had doubts at the last minute before my trip and tried to change hotels, but thankfully wasn't able to. It is a very nice property, rooms are very large and clean. Clientele seems to be catered more towards the 30+ crowd and families. There are three (?) restaurants onsite as well as a casino, so it is a nice break from the chaos of the strip, and a nice retreat if you are not into the party scene. The pool area is very nice and peaceful, no swim up bars, or party crowd. It is not as opulent as some of the more popular places on the Strip, but it is a good, quality hotel for a reasonable price.

My only complaints - in the "kitchenette" area - there was no microwave or way to reheat food, and there was a coffeemaker, but no pot (??). Also, the ice machine on my floor did not work, so I had to go down a floor to find one. The grounds are huge, and beautiful, but it is easy to get lost.

I will definitely keep this on my places to stay in Vegas list.

Room Tip: The grounds are immense, and very spread out, and it is really easy to get lost trying to find your...

Although our stay was brief, we enjoyed the ambiance of this great old hotel off the strip. With multistory units around the pool,it pays to pay attention to where you are, but dropping bread crumbs to find your way is not necessary in order to find your way to your room--units are clearly marked. The rooms and lobby are large and comfortable, with satisfactory service, although the pool wait person forgot our order. The dining room food and service were good, but we did not visit the casino.

Great place to stay. I like parking near my room. The rooms are spacious and clean, walking distance from Ballys and across the street from several great places such as Lawry. The price is the best in Las Vegas, always clean rooms and the pool and casino are very nice aswel

This is just of the strip and in walking distance to Harrah, Creasers, Bellagio and many more. Very large rooms and priced lower than most if you are a returning guest. The service was above the call of duty. We enjoyed out stay and will go back again.

Room Tip: We stayed in the “C” building which is more in the middle. Although our room was close to the elevat...

We have just returned from this property, which is perfect in every way. Not on strip but close enough, huge room with more than adequate facilities, and great casino - next door, no walking through to get to your room. 3 fab restaurants and bars. a lovely pool, some used it but it was not quite hot enough 3rd week in March, looked peaceful and clean just like the whole resort, groundsman tending to perfectly kept gardens every morning and doormen and front of house staff friendly and helpful, Best Margaritas in Vegas I was told could be found in the Mexican restaurant, I wouldnt know to compare but I tried one, now Im hooked and wouldnt argue. Breakfasts huge choice in Marilyns cafe not to mention portion size too, and the ribs were immense at supper time, best sauce ever, our waiter James was a darling, he has the unenviable job of working 11pm till 6 yet I think hes kept busy, this place never sleeps, well it is part of the casino after all. We didnt get to try the Italian so must return for that, also highly recommended. If its your first time visiting Vegas you probably want to stay on the strip, I did but never again, this was our 3rd visit to Vegas and it just gets better, this place is one of the reasons why and its less than 10mins stroll to Ballys where you can get the shutlle, this currently costs $5 for a single trip we went up to MGM and spent a few hours in the surrounding area, when we decided to come back we went to the door at the MGM and got ourselves a taxi, right back to the door of the Tuscany $6.70 so maybe better deal sometimes to travel by taxi, or even limo, the Tuscany has a limo so just negotiate with the driver a price, we paid $20 to the Bellagio. Opposite the hotel is Lawrys a very good steak house, not cheap. Further down Flamingo if you go in the other direction there are plently other places of interest to eat, we liked the Brazilian place Bahama Breeze, also there is a PF Chang and the Hard Rock Hotel is also a 10 min stroll, no hustle like on the strip if you feel like a bit of peace. Do yourself a favour and give it a try.
