“Quiet”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 April 2012

We enjoyed 3 nights from Sunday 1st April.Room was well equipped with fridge, microwave, also very spacious room.we never had view of bellagio but I'm not going to moan about that,I don't go to sit in my room looking out of the window.
The one thing I would say is the entrance and exit from the hotel, you either have to walk through the bellagio or though the crystal shopping arcade to get to the strip,it never really bothered us but I think it will with some people.
The big plus with the Vdara is,you are not charged stupid money to valet park your car...it's complimentary.
I would go back if I ever went to Vegas again

Room Tip: If you have asked for a sofa bed in your room make sure you ask for it to be made when you check in

Clean, great price, professional staff and a room with a fantastic view. As somebody who specialises in interiors, the hotel and it's amenities have been fitted to a very high standard.

If you were to force a negative point from me, it would be that the hotel isn't very "Vegas" but then again, how many indoor canals, plaster statues and labyrinth casinos can you manage in a day?

Highly recommended.

Went to Vegas for my 40th and Vdara was perfect. No Casino, No smoking, just suites...superb. Everywhere is further than you think when walking, but well worth the effort. Breakfast buffet at Aria or Bellagio are not to be missed.
When checking in don't be fobbed off with a low floor, also if you've booked a room upgrade make sure you get a view of the Bellagio fountains ("the lake"). We had upgraded but where offered room on 8th floor overlooking the pool and road... 10 mins later, after visit back down to reception, we were on the 53rd floor overlooking the whole northern strip - SPECTACULAR.
Only downside is that anything you want, above basic towels, "for your convenience!" you have to ask for it... however, don't ask for a kettle 'cos they don't have any! Also, being charged $25 per night resort fee is total rip off... we didn't need internet ,and 2x 30cl bottles of chilled municipal water is wrong on many levels.
However, WHEN we go back we'll definately stay here again.

Room Tip: The higher the better, especially if looking over "the lake"

We just spent 4 days at Vdara and loved it. Very attentive personnel and beautiful surroundings. So much quieter than casino hotels. Very secure also. Someone is watching the elevators 24-7. It is a little hard to find the first time but after you get the hang of the drive way, it's simple. Recommended.

Room Tip: We had a base room 24th floor with fantastic views.

Going to experience the new center of Vegas that is the City Center? Treat yourself to a stay at Vdara, the gambling-free hotel nestled perfectly between Aria and Bellagio, with easy indoor access to each. Our room literally felt like an apartment, opening into a beautiful dining area and living room, then wrapping around to the stunning bedroom and bathroom with views of the strip throughout. We actually were able to sit in bed while watching the Bellagio fountains. Talk about a romantic, unforgettable experience. Their room rates are incredibly reasonable, and the front desk employees were fantastic. I had so much fun here.

Room Tip: The City Corner Suites are amazing, and even more amazingly priced for what you get. Such a respite...
