This is a nice hotel on the Strip that is near other casinos, hence, no smoke to walk through. The staff was nice and the rooms were clean. My room was just on the verge of showing some rough-around-the-edges need for some updates. I'd stay here again.

Room Tip: I was in a King standard room.

My room was perfect. Got upgraded to a corner suite, high and facing the Bellagio fountains. These rooms are very spacious, yet just one king bed. Service wonderful, room spacious and quite. Wonderful amenities and very state of the art. Easy to walk to the strip. The pool has reopened but the bar is not finsished yet. Staff throughout the resort were extremely hospitable. Be sure to ask for a high floor with a view, I hope they will accommodate you too!

Room Tip: If a room on a high floor is not available at early check in, I think it is worth the wait. Check y...

Up until now, I thought the Bellagio could not be beat for a classy place to stay in Las Vegas.
Then I discovered the Vdara Hotel & Spa in the City Center Complex and it is to die for. It is a smoke-free, casino-free hotel and it has every amenity you could ask for. I had a corner suite which was like a small apartment. The overall design of the suite was very functional and user
friendly with all the trimmings: Bath Robes, Full Kitchen, Separate Sitting Area, etc. Power
curtains and black-out drapes completed the picture. The Vdara is connected by a short walkway to the Bellagio which is the center of the Las Vegas universe (in my opinion). MGM
has very smartly connected all these venues -- City Center, Bellagio, Aria -- with either walkways or trams so you can get around without a lot of walking on the strip or using cabs.
Vdara has a basic coffee shop for all three meals with groceries for your in-room kitchen if you choose to eat in or you have a family with you and want to save money eating out. It is
a very short walk to the new Cosmopolitan Hotel which has the best buffet in LV, in my opinion, called The Wicked Spoon. The Cosmo was going to be my new hotel choice (after a stay earlier in the year) until I discovered the Vdara. From checking in to checking out and everything in between, you cannot beat the service and facilities of the Vdara.

Room Tip: Book the corner suite if you can get a deal.

Have just spent 6 days at the Vdara with my fiance it was our 1st time in vegas and how right we were to choose the Vdara for our stay. Would definately recommend the Vdara for anyone to stay at on a trip to Vegas whether it be your 1st trip or not. The hotel is not directly on the strip although walking 10 minutes through the Bellagio to the strip was not a problem.
The rooms in the hotel are fantastic and the bed was probably the most comfortable I have ever slept in and we got a room with a view over the Bellagio fountains and the Paris hotel which added to the whole vegas experience. I you are indicisive as to where to stay in Vegas then choose the Vdara.

Decided to choose the Vdara for my best friends bachelor party. Originally from Boston and have never been to Vegas so didnt really know what to expect. The prices seemed reasonable and the rooms looked gorgeous so I decided to book. The resort fee threw me off a little bit but I learned it was quite common in that area so I dismissed it. Not too sure I liked the big security deposit they require at check-in either but realizing this was Vegas im sure its necessary. Check-in was fast, room was available VERY early and im thankful for that. Got upstairs to the room and I thought the rooms were AMAZING. I got the regular Deluxe suite. I would have loved to see the upgraded rooms. Very nice design, love the art and layout. Very modern and a contemporary look to it. I loved pretty much everything about the room I have no complaints whatsoever. My gripes? Very minor and looked past them. But I figured ill share them anyway. Here goes...

1. Requested extra comforters, I had a feeling they wouldnt bring them up. Its a very big hotel they mightve forgotten my request. I called down and they immediately brought them up.

2. Whats up with the pool situation? It was barely ever open... the one day I got to it, it closed at 4. Thats the earliest ive ever heard of a pool closing at a resort. It was beautiful out mustve been about 80. In their defense, they werent kicking people out as soon as they clock struck 4.

3. Resort fee kinda sucked... 25.00 a night. I booked multiple rooms so thats probably why it hurt so much. No biggie.

4. Not much to do there, but it connects to the Bellagio which is nice. And its a nice relaxing resort.

Other then those minor issues, the stay was awesome and I will definetly stay again.

Room Tip: The regular Deluxe rooms are awesome for couples. Im excited to see what the upgraded rooms look lik...
