This property is heaven! Would stay here over and over again! We have stayed in several Mandarin Orientals. Even had our wedding at the one in Miami. MO Las Vegas meets and exceeds all the qualities of any Mandarin Oriental. The service was exceptional throughout the property. We spent a lot of our time at the pool, where the entire staff was exceptional! Charlie and Alex by the pool provided above and beyond service. We plan on going back to MOLAS just to go see them!! AMAZING PROPERTY!!

Luxurious hotel in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip , but extremely quiet and relaxing. Staff is very welcoming and friendly. No casinos or nightclubs but everything is close by. Excellent for families or relaxation. Pools on the eighth floor. Fun and very helpful staff.

OK, let's just cut to the chase: this is the best hotel in Las Vegas. Bank it. Book it. Full Stop.

Room Service: ordered at least once a day. The real winner here at any hour is the club sandwich. Not sure how, but the basic carafe'd black iced tea - phenomenal.

MOzen Bistro: the basic hotel restaurant where you can get all three meals, including the choice of buffet or a la carte breakfast. We went for the a la carte. Chicken Congee. Hands down, the best. Also tried some classics and they were all the expected $15-20-mark-worthy.

Staff: Absolutely zero complaints. Upon check-in we had someone show us to the room and demonstrate room functionality and provide a general welcome to the property.

Room: Mandarin Studio. This is a semi-smart room, though not quite as smart as neighboring Aria (see post) but oh-so luxurious. The bathroom and closet areas rivaled the main living space in size and luxury. We were also big fans of the privacy-minded valet closet where newspapers, shoe shine, and other items were discreetly left for those times you can't be bothered to go to the door.

Location: City Center. Next to Aria, Cosmo, Bellagio, soon-to-be-open Park MGM. Center Strip.

Spa/Salon: Did cut and color, which came out great even if there was a slight mix-up regarding the details of my service. As of our trip in early 2017, some spa services had to be done at Aria

Misc.: We really liked the subterranean entrance. It is actually at street level but a level below where the crowds will be filtering into, out of, and around Cosmo and Aria. Also, we hear the Twist restaurant is terrific, and we totally had reservations, but we got a little carried away at the Aria. Oops. But we did manage to call and cancel the reservation once we realized we wouldn't be in any shape to appreciate the food and justify its hefty price tag! We opted instead for slices and cheesy mac at Five50 Pizza Bar.

Bottom Line: Do it. Just do it. Do yourself and/or someone you love, like, sort of can tolerate the favor. We would totally do it every time we go to Vegas, but the whole room comp thing is hard to pass up at other top Vegas properties. But when that runs out, Mandarin will be the choice with Standard rooms starting at ~$200/night. There is quite simply no lower price point at a Mandarin Hotel anywhere in the world. We've stayed at a couple of Mandarin properties and can say there were absolutely no compromises at the Mandarin Las Vegas.

Some of the nicest rooms in Vegas I've seen, small hotel and at times you might feel you are the only one staying here. Nice spa also. Great location. So who would stay here? Anyone who likes visiting Vegas but doesn't like the craziness of the typical resort/casino hotel. This is a much quieter, more relaxing, opulent place. For some, that may not be ideal...if you like the vibe of say an Aria or Bellagio, you won't have that here. There are also no stores inside and really not much dining options, so again this is really if you want a nice place to stay/sleep, but you will do all your activities at other locations. For gambling, the Aria is a 5 minute walk.

Do not go here for the pool, as it's almost an afterthought, and it's high up and completely shaded by one side of the building (and will get more wind). I mean, if you just want to lounge around a pool and read, it may be fine, but it will not be the larger, more spacious pool area most resorts in Vegas have. Also, the exercise room is oddly a bit small, but I never found it too be very crowded.

I like this hotel since there is no casino manager doling out comps and catering to big gamblers at the expense of full paying guests, so all guests here seem to be treated respectfully and equally.

Spacious hotel without a casino, so quiet and peaceful. Easy walk to all of the usual LV attractions, when you want it. Rooms were large and comfortable, of oddly shaped. Elevator banks are complicated, perhaps to keep out the rest.
