Owner description: The host of Travel Channel's #1 rated series Ghost Adventures is giving everyone a chance to experience the spine-chilling vibe of the spirit world. Reality star and author Zak Bagans has turned a historic downtown Las Vegas mansion into a mecca of the macabre - a haunted museum. The 11,000-square foot property built in 1938 is located near South Las Vegas Boulevard and was originally owned by Cyril S. Wengert, a prominent businessman. Through the years, hostile spirits have been rumored to roam the halls terrorizing past occupants, family members who passed away there whose energy remains. Long-time Las Vegans even claim dark rituals took place in the home's basement during the 1970's. Paranormal enthusiasts visiting Zak Bagans' The Haunted Museum will venture down creepy winding hallways and secret passages into more than 30 rooms that rival scenes from Hollywood horror films, setting the stage for frightening facts about each paranormal pieces.

Amazing tour. Our guide Katie was good, she definitely knew her stuff. My family is big fans of the tv show, so seeing this stuff in person was a treat. I would definitely go back.

This museum was amazing. Michael was our tour guide he was very knowledgeable about every piece in the museum. As an avid Zak Bagans follower this was hands down the best experience I could have asked for! I would highly recommend checking out the tour that was well over an hour and a half.

A must see in Vegas. Take a taxi or uber from the strip. Close to Fremont Street Experience. Museum looks small in pics on internet but is actually huge. 30 rooms that are filled with interesting things and well organized. Tour guide provides TONS of info about items in every room. Some rooms were sad, some skocking, some terrifying. We loved every minute. Well worth the money (and the wait outside).

The was a great museum of interesting attractions. Zak has provided many historical items to see and hear. Zak gave us a personal tour of one of the rooms. Had a great time with even a bit of a experience ourselves of possible paranormal.

I'm a long time fan of Zak's show, and this was one of the main things I wanted to see in my first trip to Vegas. It did not disappoint.

There are tons of curiosities and rooms with featured pieces. The tour is guided, and our particular guide Christy was friendly, knowledgeable, and fun.

The museum respects the items inside but isn't afraid to throw a few jump scares at you.

There's way too much to see in a single trip if you really want the most out of it, but you won't leave disappointed, as the house is packed with tons of things to peruse.

The overall flow of the tour is done really well, and the ambiance of each room is different, including lighting, decoration, and even smell.

Bonus: I actually got to briefly meet Zak while waiting to enter the house.

Anyways, if you're a fan of Ghost Adventures, the paranormal, or just a well presented tour full of interesting macabre items, make the trip off the strip to this place.
