We held a dinner meeting at the Simon and we met in the Herb Room. It was perfect! The speaker had ample room, as did the attendees. Loved the presentation of the food; it was served as you would at home with about 3-4 servings in the serving dish and we "passed our plate". The only down side was the sun beaming in on us and making it a bit hard to see the presentation on the screen.

I have been staying at the Palms Place for years and love the rooms, the convenience off the strip and ease of parking and getting to room easily without the hassle of a HUGE CASINO to walk through. I have enjoyed Happy Hour at Simons on many occasions. The food is outstanding especially the pan seared edemas. The meat loaf is so flavorful, the sushi rolls are large servings and wonderful. One of my favorite dishes was the Pork Chop with maple syrup. The bartender Mark is delightful , charming and makes one feel welcome which is important for us business travelers. Congrats to Kerry Simon for this successful restaurant !

Called today to adjust a reservation and the girl answering the phone (Ginger) couldn't figure out how to update our reservation, then told me they couldn't accommodate ONE more person, and when I asked if they had a pre fix menu (for the holiday) she said "well they might but uh... uh.... if not, it will be the regular menu." What?!?! GO FIND OUT! Absolutely atrocious phone manners and complete unwillingness to assist in any way, like she had so many better things to do than her job. If it wasn't a holiday and everything else wasn't already booked, I'd definitely cancel the reservation, but we're stuck. Hopefully the food is better than the phone service.

It's a shame to see the negative reviews below - we booked for a group for the Sunday brunch and had a really fun morning. The main difference with this buffet is that the main brunch items are ordered and cooked fresh from a menu. This is a great way of managing brunch, as you can order as many items as you like, but each comes out fresh and hot. The menu is extensive, with "only in America" treats such as lobster benedict, french toast encrusted in frosted flakes, chicken and waffle, egg and bacon muffin, and around a dozen other choices.

The buffet itself offers pastries, cakes, sushi, bagel and panini options, as well as UNLIMITED FAIRY FLOSS (candy floss if you're American or British) and a cute candy bar option on the way out.

We added the drinks package, which was around $20 for unlimited champagne, belinis and mimosas. although at first this service was quite restrained, by a few hours in, the staff were liberally topping up our glasses before they were even empty.

Needless to say, we left completely stuffed and more than a little tipsy.

The morning was spectacular - our table next to the pool, with the sun gleaming in. We were not rushed, and the Paul Frank pyjamas worn by staff are a nice touch to the chilled-out lazy brunch atmosphere. It's not cheap, by the time you add drinks and service to your bill, but a fun and special treat for your time in Vegas.

Came for dinner - wow, not crowded, very romantic, wonderful vibe with views of the pool. Waitstaff very informal and professional if not exactly speedy. Pricey, but worth every penny. Will go back our next trip to Vegas!
