I say it's the only true buffet because it is truly a buffet with lots of choices and is open everyday. Hence the 4 rating.

The staff gets a 10!
They are attentive
They are helpful
There isn't a lack of staff here- thank you!

The place is clean
The food is stocked.
The crab legs are worth more than anything else. ( still a lil pricey Buffett) I would like to see the price come down a lil but and the kids should be less too. My kid is 12 but she eats like a 4 year old. Expensive for Mac and cheese and ice cream

The sushi was fresh

There is a wide variety of everything

I didn't give a 5 because I think it's hard to keep the food area clean at all times with the ripple who come that do not have the same hygiene. Never ever...never ever... Yes- for all t adding this and hopefully every buffet manager reads this- never ever should the serving utensils the guests pick up ever - ever be placed back in the food! That is the quickest way to spread germs, evolution, boogers, sneezed on -unwashed hands all over your food! I will not eat from any food where that happens. People eating in line, licking their fingers, grabbing the thongs and placing them back on the lettuce? Gross!!
Also, if you take a dessert to your table... You can't come back and put it back- gross!!
Make sure you can keep an eye on this.

I wish there were more clean healthy buffets in town.for now- get there early to be the dinner rush!

Prime rib definitely not edible just looks pretty.
Salad bar acceptable but not very fresh. Asian dishes old and greasy. Shrimps tasted frozen. Desserts very marginal. I tried the made to order pasta with chicken and alfredo sauce. The chicken cubes were thought but the sauce was ok. It reminded me of the cheap casino in the Chevy Chase Vegas vacation movie with the blue grub. Is this were culinary school dropouts end up?
Just go to fat burgers!

Went there twice during my stay this week. Players card gives you a great discount. Very nice salad bar, decent Asian food station and great dessert station. The prime Rib was good and the turkey breast was moist and tasty. Food seemed to be replenished frequently because of the large number of guests. The best part of this restaurant was the wonderful view of Lake Tahoe.

During the week the buffet opens for dinner at 5 pm and closes at 830 pm. We went up st 5 pm on the dot and there was a long line up already. The variety of foods is great and the food itself is pretty decent. The best of all are the breads and the desserts. The place is busy but the service is very good.

I have eaten at this buffet many times, last week may be my final visit. It has steadily gone down hill the last year. The rib roast was so dry and tough I could even cut it to taste it, I tried just about everything (it was Italian night) and I could not find one thing that was worth eating, all was dry, tasteless and sometimes not hot, except the salad that was warm as was the self serve ice cream. To top it off the pecan cookies I liked weren't even there. The line for the meat slicing goes in the middle of the room so it is hard to maneuver around it. The layout for the salad bar has lettuce then croutons which should be after the dressings. The two stars are for the waitstaff, they are pleasant and pick up done dishes very fast. The view is great though.
