Stopped off at the Ram for an evening meeting and decided to have dinner whilst there.

Found the staff very attentive, I opted for the Sea bass which was beautiful and very well presented.

There is a good range of drinks available.

External & Internal seating.

Dog friendly.

Limited car parking out the front but with a car park very close to the pum.

Will defiantly be returning.

I've been to the Ram Inn many times over the last 20 years, usually for a drink but sometimes eating. The last time was at the beginning of a winter walk up on the Downs on a Sunday lunchtime, and they served a very good butternut squash soup in a big bowl with good crusty chunky bread. My partner also enjoyed his meal. The current chef serves original food and has good ideas which I think vary every day. There's a lovely open fire in the front room where the bar is, and an older room with a more formal feel at the back, again with a flickering fireplace in winter. There is also a beer garden. Finally, it's in one of the loveliest flintstone villages in Sussex. Always a favourite.

Thank you Ram Inn for understanding the situation that Stanmer House put us through after cancelling on us. You saved the Mothers Day at a late notice and it was a wonderful meal with fantastic service. We all thoroughly enjoyed it!
