WE liked this lodge alot, as the rooms were large and one could move about easily, even with 2 people. the bathroom was especially nice as it had 2 separate sinks/countertop areas separated by a wall, so you had room to spread out. The beds were comfy too.
the lodge dining room is beautiful, with a very large stone fireplace going all the way up to the high ceiling, and the walls are wood paneled with a variety of stuffed animals and birds lining the ceiling, as one would expect with a mountain lodge. The food was quite good, especially the hearty breakfasts, with omelettes big enough to share.
there is a large deck with tables and chairs for outdoor but covered dining, which was not in use while we were there unfortunately, as they were re-doing the deck. There is an indoor pool, which is great for kids and 2 outdoor jacuzzis, which we did not use.
A fairly good size fitness room as well, which seemed to be clean and well maintained, which we did not use this time. The shuttle is available to take you to town or pick up, which is convenient, but it is only 1 mile from town, so a pretty easy walk. The golf course is lovely, so be sure to ask for a golf course view room!More
