“Good Value with Pluses & Minuses”
Reviewed 8 September 2012 for a stay in July 2012

I stayed here with my wife and teenage son & daughter plus 4 teenage nieces & nephews. Rena was very quick to respond to questions and the rate for the condo was a good value to be able to sleep 8 (7 on beds and one on the couch). We loved being able to use the private dock on whitefish lake and the convenience to get to whitefish and Glacier. We stayed two nights to get ready for a three day backpacking trip in Glacier. Most of our clan backpacked in Tetons & Yellowstone the week prior and we needed to do laundry, shop for food, etc. before Glacier.

The condo has everything you need, including TV Dinner Stands, as the kitchen and table in the kitchen are small we used the table to stage food for hungry teenagers.

The place is a little tired relative to carpet, etc., but being a ski & summer condo rental will do that to any condo. Only real negative was some pest problems that we reported to the office manager. There were a couple of places where sawdust appeared on furniture each day from carpenter ants in the ceiling (some on the floors too) and in a corner just outside the porch door in a small shared porch there was fresh bat droppings each day. There was a net covering the corner but apparently it did not stop the bats from congregating there. The Office Manager had thought the pest problems were addressed, so likely not a problem for the next renter.

Management Response
7 Sep 2012
Dear Renters,
Thanks for alerting our onsite managers to any problem. They are very quick to respond. To our prospective visitors, this condo village is in the middle of a forest, very close to wildlife habitat. It's not unusual to see critters large and small. We have regular pest maintenance and all the activity is on the exterior of our home, facing the lake. We appreciate your thoughful comments about our conveniences and hope you will return,
Rena Wallenius
