We were traveling through the area on our way from Glacier National Park to Seattle. This is a nice place to stay. Molly was there to greet us as we checked in. I would stay here again....clean and comfortable. Our room had great satellite tv and a shower only small bathroom. It was perfect for 2 people.

Ten of us spent a long weekend in Hideaway House recently. It has plenty of room for everyone, room to spread out. The beds are comfortable, there's A/C and the bathrooms are spacious (3 baths). It is quiet and the river is about a 1/2 block away. We saw wild turkeys and deer and a mama black bear with 2 cubs.

The kitchen is well equipped with lots of storage space, two ovens, plenty of cookware and an ample supply of dishes. The lay out is well planned with plenty of counter space. The only caveat is the full size refrigerator freezes items on the top shelf.

A washer and dryer are also available, which we did not use.

We really enjoyed our stay here in a very new cabin (it still smelled of urethane). The front porch was relaxing. My only complaint is the accessibility to the river, the reason I gave 4 stars. The river is beautiful and very swimmable. There is a state park across the river. The path to the river from the Riverfront is rough and the cleared waterfront is pretty small. It's a lovely spot for a campfire but more seating is needed. And walking the path after dark could be challenging. There is a fire pit near the cabins and pond with seating. We enjoyed the ducks, rabbit, deer and bull frogs. There are a variety of accommodations and prices for everyone. It was very clean and comfortable. I highly recommend a stay at the Riverfront Motel (btw, I did not see an RV Park).

We stayed in the Fisher cabin. Delightful, timber built, and very modern inside. The bed was the most comfortable one we had slept in, bliss. Fridge, microwave, coffee maker. Nice toiletries, bath and shower. We had a problem using the TV (cable) and help came straight away. Porch with chairs and table, but the cabins further down had a view of a pond and ducks (and a rabbit?). Small gift shop in reception. Wifi was excellent. The reading light switch is behind the headboard, and not obvious. This is a new complex and there is still a little work going on, but as far as we were concerned this did not spoil our stay. The cabins are new so I hope that guests respect this and look after them during their stay. I would return if in the area, but unlikely as we live in the UK!

We picked Thompson Falls and this motel basically for the distance we needed to cover that day. What a pleasant ending to a long driving day. The cabins seem new and very well maintained. The motel setting outside of town along the river is relaxing. Our check in clerk was very friendly and helpful. My only regret is we didn't arrive earlier for more porch sitting time. We ate a late supper in town but were able to have our cereal and fruit breakfast in the cabin. Wifi was a little iffy but for us is not an essential.
