Nice quiet resort, could use some more updating. Continental Breakfast was a little on the skimpy side. Entrance to lodge is not user-friendly, hard to get luggage through doors and bumps. The pool was clean, but very shallow and not a lot of fun for swimmers. Beautiful location, just needs to add some flair.

Room Tip: Wait for a discount.

Came here over the summer for a family reunion. Good points were the location (on beautiful Rock Creek and close to beautiful drive on the Beartooth Highway) and the catered family dinner we had was delicious (prime rib).

Unfortunately the rooms were BADLY in need of an update, there was no air conditioning and the pool, despite being nice and indoors, had so many chemicals in it that my niece had burns on her skin from it. Service and selection at the continental breakfast was also pretty terrible, we couldn't even get water at times. We also had a bright light shining directly in our room from outside, which made sleeping difficult. All of this combined with a rather expensive price left me pretty disappointed overall.

Room Tip: Get a room facing Rock Creek, it is beautiful.

Rooms are old, and probably have had few if any updates since the 80's. They said it was family friendly yet the room we had had an open stairwell. Uncomfortable beds oh wait it was a Murphy bed! Not worth the money.

Room Tip: It looks like the twin elk building has nice rooms!

The hotel has nice rooms and very clean grounds. There is a very nice creek going through the back of the property and also an excellent restaurant. There is a fishing pond stocked with rainbow trout for children. Overall, it is a great place to stay when visiting beartooth pass and Yellowstone.

This was a great spot; out of the way and beautiful. Our room had a full kitchen which was very nice. There was a balcony off our room that was huge! The room was very clean and comfortable. The murphy bed was actually a great bed. I had expected squeaking with every movement but these were sound and comfy. The kids slept on the sleeper sofa which must have been fine because they had no complaints. Continental breakfast had great muffins and yogurt, fruit, cereal--basics, but the view was great! The creek was very close to the motel and visible from the breakfast room as well as our balcony. When outside the creek was fairly loud, but the rooms were super quiet. A great stay! We would go here again.

Room Tip: The staff were very helpful. The desk even had Tums and Tylenol!
