Stayed one night over New Years Eve in cabin #2, the Tamarac Cabin (cabin with a few extra beds). Wasn't really sure what to expect, but it was very clean, warm and comfortable.

There was a queen bed in the main room, a queen and a single bed in the annex. Microwave, coffee maker, plenty of hooks to hang things, bathroom had hot water, shower, toilet. The only funky things were the light for the bathroom is in the main room so if you turn on the light for the bathroom the bedroom lights up too. And the cabin is pretty slanted. So if you've had a few....good luck in there! And the wifi doesn't work well.

There's no fridge, utensils, plates, bowls, etc. so bring your own as the closest grocery store is in Lolo (maybe a 20 minute drive?).

The bar is pretty cool, very unique and the proprietors are really friendly and want to make sure you have the best experience possible. Bar has typical bar food, a fire place, jukebox, pool table and room to dance. Very cozy place. I liked it a lot!

Spent Friday Evening at the "Jack", wonderful people Patty, Shannon and a great group of people from around Montana and Texas. Great food as well, loved the "Lumberjack Philly Steak, Peppers and Cheese", my wife had the Chicken dinner she said "Excellent". Outstanding evening inside a real "4-Cedar-Log-Lodge" in the heart of the Western Montana Mountains.

Great dinner show, food was plentiful. Accommodating to the handicapped. Great to see animals, lumberjacks & audience participation. Happy they acknowledge the veterans. Not a bad seat in the house. Would go again.

..we were the only ones eating, the bar-tender/cook/server did an awesome job on the food !!!! Great place with wonderful atmosphere. certainly didn't hurt that two customers at the bar rang the bell for free drinks for all the guests.. we had a great time and a very reasonable bill for an excellent meal !!!!

Rode up there one day on my motorcycle to check out the place and decided to have a burger. only me and another fella in the place at noon. The bartender/cook was a great gal from Chilie. She made this awsome burger with lots of cheese and thick cut bacon. I sat out in the sun on thier deck and loved every minute of it. I cant tell you much about the drinking part of this neat bar because I just had soda. But go on up there!
