We walked in and asked to see a menu, and were duly supplied with such. The menu looks great. So we decided to stay, and try it out. We were treated to a booth in a very open and well-decorated setting, which seems to contribute to the noise level. The restaurant was perhaps 30% full, and we had to raise our voices considerably to hear each other, across a table. Our waitress, after around 10 minutes, comes by to recommend that we do NOT try the special, and then tells us a few other things on the menu are not good. Okay, sure, maybe she's looking out for the customer, but maybe she should point to other things and say these are great, rather than saying those things are bad.
We place our order, and the salads come out, and my wife's salad is incorrect. When asked about it, she said she forgot, when we had placed the order less than 5 minutes previous to this. We do not drink alcohol ever, so please don't think that this is the drink talking.
Later, the meals came out. My wife ordered the steak and salmon, while I ordered the blackened shrimp alfredo. The only thing that wasn't over-cooked was my pasta. My wife put her fork in the piece of salmon and held up the entire serving on her fork. Her steak was ordered medium, and there was zero pink throughout, and was just shy of inedible with its toughness. I ordered an extra skewer of shrimp with my meal, and even that was over-done, and rubbery. The alfredo sauce on my pasta was so bland that it gave the appearance of being nothing but cream and butter.
We mentioned this to the waitress and her surprise was complete; she had no idea what was cooked and over-cooked. We paid for our meal (we never, ever ask for our meal to be comp-ed, because we came, they cooked something, and we tried it) and left. We won't ever be going back.
