Thanks to online reviews, we found this cozy Italian restaurant, tucked in an off-campus neighborhood, while travelling. The service was excellent - and gave us a taste of the wine bottle we picked from their limited selection. With the bread came butter, olive oil, vinegar -- and minced garlic! I had wonderful portobello-stuffed homemade ravioli; my husband had tri-colored tortellini stuffed with gorgonzola, with chicken and broccoli. The sauces were excellent. A perfect way to get off the road and relax.

This can be a tough place to find. So either get good directions from a local, or use your GPS to find this small restaurant. But it is well worth the effort. Be warned, our food came out very hot! Don’t burn your mouth (like we both did)!

I fell in live with this place after my first bite of fettuccine at the location near MSU. After they added a second location on the south side of town, they didn’t disappoint. I have never had a meal that was just “ok.” Everything is delicious, my favorite dishes are the fettuccine, regular spaghetti (people often underestimate a good marinara), portobello mushroom ravioli, and the balsamic chicken. The bread beforehand with the garlic, cheese, and olive oil hits the spot every time. They even started a coffee shop that attaches to the restaurant. I have wanted to try the coffee shop for a bit but absolutely hate that it closes at 3. They really need to leave it open till at least close of the restaurant. Even with that being said, Bambino’s needs to be on your list.

Hidden gem with the best food, hands down! The Bruschetta is seriously the best thing I have ever eaten, I am not even exaggerating this! We ordered some last night to go nothing but that! So delicious!
The food is well prepared and good sized proportions, the crab cakes, baked ziti, and the Diana pasta is all delicious. We got the appetizer of ravioli too which was good, but that bruschetta, you have to go even if it’s just for that!!!!
