This is our second time at the soulard market and surrounding area. The diversity of products and people makes for a fun day. The surrounding neighborhood and shops are wonderful, Parking is a bit of a pain if you want to be really close, but it's one of our favorite spots to spend a morning.

Didn't get a chance to experience all the bars, I will have to go back, but a good spot for young kids to party

This is an adorable part of the city. There are lots of little hole int he wall stores, restaurants, and bars. I would also suggest visiting the Soulard Market while you're here.

We were visiting the area and stayed in the Soulard neighborhood. Unique architecture, diverse restaurants and bars up and down the streets. Literally something for everyone! Visited the farmers market early on a Saturday morning and what a treat. Everything from baked goods, spices, produce, beer on tap, hotdogs, handmade crafts, flea market items, flowers, butcher shop cuts of meat to street musicians performing. Just a lively and wonderful place to browse!
