“Fun place...”

Soulard is a historic district in St. Louis. There are many fun pubs & bars in the area. Plus, this is the scene for the St. Louis Mardi Gras event as well as many other fun festivals & activities throughout the year. If you like interesting artistic stuff, there is also a lot to see here! Lastly, this area of the city is home to the A.B. Brewery!

This old neighborhood is a great place to visit. It hosts the annual Mardi-gras festivities and other local celebrations! Only minutes from downtown.

“Fantastic Nightlife”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 February 2012

Soulard is a good area for eating and drinking. There are lots of things within walking distance of one another and plenty of cabs to be had if needed. At different times of the year (Oktoberfest and Mardi Gras) the festivals are a lot of fun. The whole neighborhood participates! The buildings are architecture are also nice to look at, as this is a historic area.

“GREAT Selection”

You can get any sort of food you want here and the prices are incredible. Bring your own bag and load up on veggies. It is really croweded, but there is a good flow.

“rustic casual to politly quaint”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 December 2011

Soulard is not just a farmers market it is a geographic area that is sure to provide what ever style of eatery or pub you might be looking for. More of a locals favorite than a tourist destination. While the farmers market is truly the hub of the Soulard area there are parks near by and is conviently located just south of the St Louis Cardinals Busch Stadium & the St, Louis Arch.
