Fun for everyone. My 8-year-old daughter and I had a blast. They have an exhibit where you can smell different things and try to guess what they are. We enjoyed the lab area where we were crime scene investigators. The IMAX show, To The Arctic, was very interesting and insightful. We paid for the Nano exhibit..it was interesting, but not worth the money. Unfortunately, we got off to a late start, so we did not make to the planetarium. We will definitely go back and check out the things we missed.

Visited Saint Louis Science Center over the labor day weekend. It was fun. My children had a great time. We were not able to check out everything cause it was a big place to wonder around with so much stuffs to do. We definitely will visit again and check out the ones we missed.

Got to love the freebies! There's admission costs to some of the things here such as parking, the Omni theater, Lego area and the Discovery room. For parking, there is free street parking if you find a spot and you don't mind walking a bit. They have a lab where you don lab coats, gloves and goggles and that is fun for the kids and of course, you may learn something!

We are members of another ASTC museum so parking and one event were free for us. Our preschooler had a lot of fun. I wish they had more variety in the planetarium and IMAX shows though. The planetarium shows geared toward young kids are played very rarely and the To The Arctic show is the same one being shown right now in the museum back home. This gave us a few hours of entertainment for free, though.

Free entry with some optional paid attractions. Lots of interactive things for inquisitive children to do; can easily lose a few hours in here. Bring your own drinks as these are expensive.

Omnimax cinema a must; we saw film on Canadian railways - awesome, really felt as if you were on the train/in the helicopter.
