We arrived early so we spend the afternoon at the Big Cedar Lodge restaurant by the pool and had drinks and snacks waiting for the check-in time. The check-in process was very efficient with friendly staff. The house with two car garage was ready for us. The floor plan was great with two master bedroom suits facing the lake. We spent most of our time at the upper covered porch. The weather was perfect for sitting outside and no bugs. Only thing that would made it better, if possible, was if the trees were thinned and trimmed lower to expose the lake view more. The whole house inside and outside were furnished nicely and clean. The beds were very comfortable. There were ample towels and nice toiletries for all bathrooms. The kitchen had all the necessities with nice dishes, cutleries and flatware (bring your own foil and plastic wraps). The activities and amenities at the near by Big Cedar Lodge and Dogwood Canyon were excellent. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Cliffs at Long Creek to our friends and family. We spent 3 nights from April 7 to 10, wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you for sharing this very nice house with others.
Location is a bit off the beaten path but once you arrive, it is spectacular. From the huge villas that sleep 12 people comfortably (~3500 sq ft, 5 BR, 4 Baths) to the home theater (90+ inch screen) to the gameroom (pool table and poker table) to the balconies (upper w/propane grill, lower screened in) to the amazing vistas of Tablerock Lake and the Ozark foothills this place has it all. Shuttle service is provided to Big Cedar Lodge and Paradise Point as well as the nearby Long Creek Marina. The infinity pool is awesome with 2 hot spas adjacent. There is a lot of construction work currently being done to expand the property (adding a new lodge). The front desk has Nintendo Wii consoles and games as well as DVDs for checkout and a popcorn machine. Believe me, this place is the place to build family memories and has it all.
