Owner description: College of the Ozarks, known as "Hard Work U," is more than a college. It's a destination with tons of family-friendly activities, including two museums, an old-fashioned grist mill, fruitcake and jelly kitchen, stained glass studio, and exquisite 4-star dining at Dobyns Dining Room in The Keeter Center. It's a great way to spend a day while you are in the Branson area. The only thing that requires admission is the Ralph Foster Museum ($6 Adults, $5 Seniors, and Free to all 18 and under). Dobyns Dining Room offers a farm to table experience without breaking the bank. Come learn why this unique college is nationally known.

My friends and family to stop and walk around the College. We went to the shop were the have different Candles they make with along other stuff. I love the smell of the candles. Made my whole living room and kitchen smell so good.
Also stopped by the mill, they have flour , ECT. Also we stopped by the Chapel, was very nice.
On certain days they have a farmers market, which I have been multiple times and got some veggies and also some plants to take home.
So if your looking for something to do, this is a nice spot to get out and walk around.

Thank Michelle D

An excellent place for the whole family. We took our six and eight year old grandkids who loved all the hands on activities and how friendly the students were. If you make sure you check out the dining room and wonderful ice cream.

Nice campus to visit while in Branson. Get some student made ice cream or other gifts that are available in the store in front of the campus.

Are you looking for a nice hour trip near Branson for family? Consider the keeter center at college of the Ozarks. The students work for their tuition. If told correctly, the lovely students shared they must work 15 hours per week plus 2 40 hour weeks. The students were so nice.

What were they doing you ask? Welcoming visitors. Sweeping around the chairs, ever so gently, serving ice creaming, making and serving lunch,...

We visited their gift shop purchasing homemade jam and flour milled on site. We drove around the campus, locating a Campbell building. My dad enjoyed seeing the dairy cows. Their are at least two musuems- Ozark and farm machinery. We visualized the flour mill and candle building. It was excited for my parents to see the large poultry in their pond.

If you enjoy military honors- there is a wonderful hall with memerobila. It made us stop and thank those that served. It's a.great display with thoughtful stories.

Thank K A

College of Ozarks was wonderful. We dined at the Lester Center. The service and food was excellent! The Center was very clean, and the staff were professional.
