There were six of us in our party. We stayed at Channers C which is a separate house with three bedrooms (each with their own bathroom) amid lush greenery and fabulous views. The house was fully equipped with everything you can think of. Channers also offered apartments.

The owners (Steve & Kerri-Ann Brooks) were very accommodating and provided anything asked of them. They even baked a coconut cake on our arrival and brought over bananas and fresh eggs.

The house came with a 6 seater people mover, so we were able to get around to see all of the island at our leisure. One evening we wanted to go to dinner and have a few wines. Kerri-Ann drove us and picked us up which was lovely and totally unexpected.

We also attended many of the island's tours which all came with dinner and entertainment. There is a lot of history to explore. Just look out for the cattle and chooks who roam free!

Room tip: All bedrooms offered great views. There was a big verandah with BBQ to further enjoy the tranquility and surroundings.

If you want the friendliest everything you need cleanest quiet accomodation set in beautiful grounds then you can't go past Channers. My one bedroom unit was so comfortable plenty of room for a couple or like me a solo traveller, the luxury of a king size bed well appointed bathroom and a kitchen that wouldn't disgrace a high cost unit in any major city there was even some basic supplies to get you started on a fantastic holiday. Steve and Kerri -Ann were the most gracious hosts available if you need them but not intrusive. The welcome gift of coconut cake cooked by Kerri - Ann is one of those special touches that make this a special experience. being met at the airport and having the use of a zippy little car was just another thing that is far beyond what you would expect . So close to Burnt pine just an easy stroll. I would certainly stay here again and would recommend to all my friends Thank yo for making this such a special experience

It is well appointed and set up for you to either cater for your self or close enough to venture to the near by clubs and restaurants to dine. They also offer hire car for your personal use while there.

The owners Steve and Kerri Anne are the most obliging hosts that you will meet and are only too eager to assist with any issue you might have.

We Loved it and will be going back to stay with them again.

Yes I know that’s a cliche..and been said before, but it was how the 6 of us felt about our recent stay at Channers. Like many others, we had booked for a visit last year, to celebrate a special birthday for my husband, but COVID had other plans for us. Since my initial communication with Kerri- Ann enquiring about a booking, through all of the changes necessary, this gorgeous woman stayed calm and obliging to all of the questions & changes that were required. Multiply this by the hundreds of bookings in the system, I’m sure everyone had the same experience..
Once we finally arrived..14 months later than 1st planned, we were collected from the airport by Baunti tours, promptly delivered to Channers, where we were met by Kerri- Ann & Steve, and instantly felt welcome. They showed us to the fabulous 3 bedroom house, and explained all of the inclusions of the property. Each bedroom had its own spacious...and more importantly ,sparkling , ensuite bathroom.
We chose the downstairs room, with French doors opening to a wrap around verandah...these doors stayed open day & night.
The kitchen was well equiped, and the pantry even had many essentials waiting for us. The lounge and dining were comfortable, plenty of room for a quiet read, and the table and chairs comfortable for feisty games nights...our nightlife entertainment!!
Steve has recently extended the covered deck and this was our perfect Happy Hour location.
Our included vehicle was an 8 seater, automatic people mover..who knows what brand, but it was comfy, roomy and had good fuel economy.
Fresh mandarins from the tree, cackling chooks, a crowing rooster...we enjoyed our “ Farm Stay” with a gentle walk to town.
The gardens must be a full time job, but Steve seems to have them under control, a hibiscus lovers dream!
There’s nothing not to love about Channers ...

Room tip: Get a group of 6, and book the house

All we can say is wow! That's such a wonderful reflection of your adventure from start to finish. You have all been a delight and so paitent and then finally to get here to enjoy it all first hand. We love our property and we think it shows, so thank you for taking such careful notice of it all. We really enjoyed your company and thank you for reminding us of our own 'farm stay' that we sometimes take for granted.

cheers

I can see why everyone loves this place when they come to stay, it honestly felt like we were just going home when we arrived (for our first visit) to Norfolk Island and met with Steve and Kerri-Ann.

We stayed at the Forever Fe'awa house and although it is a few minutes drive away from the rest of Channers we were super happy with the accommodation and felt as cherished as the other visitors in the main living area.

We were so well prepared by Steve and Kerri-Ann before our trip that we had everything we needed (and nothing we didn't) and just settled in so easily. Kerri-Ann spent a short while with us, showing us around the house, answering our questions and giving us some ideas where to go for our initial sight seeing trip.

The Forever house is nicely set out, has everything you need to live comfortably and is clean, airy and functional. All the mod cons are there, as well as the basics like some basic food/condiments to get started and plenty in the kitchen to allow you to cook and eat at home if you wanted to.

For us the trip was just great, with all the inclusions i.e car, WiFi, accommodation, free orientation tour on the day after arrival, we couldn't be happier.

Thoroughly enjoyed our time and can recommend Channers to anyone thinking of visiting Norfolk Island.

Room tip: Ask for the Forever Fe'awa house, it's a gem!

Thank you so much for a wonderful view of your time with us in the fabulous Fe'awa Forever House. We have tried to think of everything our guests would need and it's just so nice to hear you were 'going home' when you arrived. That's a big compliment.

Thank you so much for coming (after a few tries thanks to Covid) but it was well worth the wait.

Cheers
