Just on a whim we stopped for lunch and what an experience. The service was good with recommendations for lunch with beer/wine selection too. My food and beer were a great match while the wife's salad was gorgeously presented.

We are going back soon since we heard they renovated. We love the quaint Location and setting.

Thank Beer M

Been there several times over the years.. Its seems to be better now under the current owner.. They have made the interior much nicer.. Had the 8oz filet.. It was cooked perfect and tasted great... Service was also great... It's pretty pricey for Lebanon but it's the best steak in the area...Wine down Wendsday keeps us coming back....

Madison's has changed ownership again. On our first visit since the new owners took over we immediately noticed the wall that has gone up separating the bar from the dining area. Nice change. Made it quieter and seemed more pleasant. There is a new menu but basically the same items. It was a Tuesday evening, they were busy. Busier than usual I am guessing because the service was terrible. The hostess is a kind and helpful person, she makes you feel welcome. After that.... we waited ten minutes to have a drink order taken, and another 20 before one of our two drinks came. Finally had to re-ask for the second one. People around us were asking for their orders to be checked on, so we knew it would be slow. We honestly wouldn't have minded the slowness, but our server either had just started that day, or didn't care. Our entrees came before our salads. Which she had forgotten, and we asked for them to be brought anyway. No bread, no steak knife, no water. Everything we needed had to be asked for and what we ordered repeated. Food was good, and I hope they train the servers and schedule enough people to handle the customers.

Stopped in on the spur of a moment. Our lunch was excellent and the hand-cut fries and homemade chips were were great. The service was timely and the atmosphere was comfortable.

Stopped for lunch on new year's eve; posted sign said the restaurant would be closed for renovation beginning January 1. The place looked fine, but looks CAN be deceiving. Although service was good, the mini crab cakes did not live up to the menu description or the price. Presented on dry, room temperature, mini hamburger buns, the cakes each weighed less than a McNugget, were very thin, mostly breading, and over cooked. They had no flavor. Hopefully the renovation will include the food quality; the place looked to have potential.
