We loved this motel. Warm welcome and loads of local information about eating and sites of interest. Lovely authentic feeling room. Extremely clean and extra pillows.WiFi. No coffee making or in room fridge BUT a fabulous part of the mother road.

The Munger Moss Motel is like a time capsule of the 1950's early 1960's. Ramona Lehman is the owner of the Motel that is located right on the Old Route 66. It's large historic neon Motel sign, welcomes you to this motel that dates back to 1946. The rooms are clean but have that vintage look. The bathroom is right out of the 1950's with a very blue sink, tub and toilet. The TV is small and on a TV stand. No key cards here, you have an actual room key. Inside the registration area, you will find a lot of Route 66 memorabilia to look at and an assortment of souvenirs for purchase. If you are driving the old Route 66, and are after the true Route 66 experience, then you will want to stay the night in this quaint historic motel.

Spent 1 night at this classic Route 66 motel. Our room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. We had made advanced reservations but the motel was nearly empty on the Monday night in mid-May when we stayed there. I suspect it's busier on weekends and during the traditional summer vacation season. It's too bad they paved over the pool but otherwise no complaints. Would also add their rates are a very good value.

We enjoyed two nights at this wonderful motel. It has been in business over seventy years with the same owners for 47 years. The customer service is like no other. Come see them on your trip near Route 66!

This is a must for any traveler wanting a taste of Route 66 in the 50’s-60’s.... from the owner who meets you in the lobby to the old photos on the wall of your room...it takes you back to a time you can imagine was packed with travelers heading West....
