Recommended – good value for money.
On a theme park road trip coast to coast for 3 weeks Aug / Sep 2008. All hotels for the trip were chosen using Trip Advisor comments and prices – selecting the best value for money for the trip.
This was chosen as a last minute change because the hotel we had booked got a couple of bad reviews. The Worlds of Fun Village is run by the park. It has an RV park, 20 Cabins and 22 cottages. It is on-site, meaning a walk to the theme or water park. The day we stayed, both were closed (we knew that before booking), but this meant a great deal - just $65 for a Cabin. The Cabins are all new and spotlessly clean, set around two ponds. Very nice location, quite, but close to the Interstate. Site office has limited hours, but park security take care of check-in when closed. Highly recommended, and the loft area is great for the kids (just bring your own sleeping bags). Only down side could be limited cabin hot water availability if a lot of you are sharing (not a problem for us), but the site does have a shower block which you can use.
