We stayed in an RV. The place was level and very clean. The employees were very friendly and helpful. We had trouble with a breaker flipping and maintance was their in 10 minutes to fix the problem. Our children enjoyed the pool and I liked their was a life guard on duty.

We booked a "cottage" for two nights as we were bringing our daughter to WOF with a friend to celebrate her birthday. The village is difficult to find (go to Oceans of Fun, not Worlds of Fun). Once we arrived, the staff in the office had difficulty with the booking and computers. It was raining and, apparently, rain wreaks havoc on their computer system. That makes sense as the televisions went in and out and Internet access was slow and sporadic. The cottage was to comfortably sleep 6. One double bed and two bunk beds in the one bedroom made it next to impossible to turn around. Aparently 4 were to sleep in this room. I am guessing it would be Sleepy, Dopey, Sneezy and Doc. There was a futon in the front room, large enough for one, but per the description, should sleep another two, Bashful and Happy it would seem. Grumpy would be the most comfortable in the car. The bunk beds were not made, just had sheets and blankets folded and tossed on and were next to impossible to make as the top bed was approximately 18 inches from the ceiling peak, less at the ends. The television remotes did not work. The telephone worked but was so full of static it was useless. The four of us were incredibly cramped and uncomfortable. Needless to say, we took a refund for the second night and stayed comfortably in two connecting rooms at the Radison for less than the cost of the cottage. Blech! Never again!

My immediate family of 5 met my husband's sister's family and my brother's family at Worlds of Fun Village. My family and my sister-in-law's family stayed in cottages that were next to each other and my brother's family came in their RV and got a spot just across the drive. Fantastic layout with laundry facilities and a pool. The kids had a blast playing with each other and the grown-ups had a wonderful time grilling and visiting. It's a 5 minute walk to both Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun so we got to enjoy the park, then go back to our cottages for lunch and a quick nap or swim before going back to the park. Very hospitable staff. Nice landscaping. It was a great trip!

These cabins are not really cabins but trailers with wood paneling propped up on blocks. Even so they aren't bad for small families or 2-3 adults. We stayed for half price because the park was closed the next day, which turned out to be roughly the same price as many of the ran down budget motels near by, so it was definitly worth the price. They are very new, well kept and clean. They are alittle on the cramped side and don't expect to get more than one person in the bathroom at a time. They do have all the ementities you would need though; microwave, refridgerator, two tvs, kitchen table, etc. Also, it is within a couple of minutes of one of the larger family friendly casinos which has a kidzone, movie theater and many resturant options to choose from.

We stayed here on the weekend of October 2-4 to attend the American Royal BBQ. I would highly recommend this location. The cabin was wonderul. The grounds are beautiful. Each cabin has a built in grill and metal picnic table surrounded by beautiful landscaping. The front desk was so friendly. It was a great weekend. We brought cereal and the fridge is big enough for a gallon of milk, waters and lunch items. It's about three feet tall and has room for food and drinks. I would return in a heartbeat if I was going to Kansas City. There are restaurants and fast food only a couple miles away. Two tvs which is great. Bring a dvd player or game console to hook up to the tv in the living room.
