My husband and I spent two nights here and it was a truly memorable stay for us.

The cottage has a warm feeling and is a home away from home. We loved the way it is furnished with a balance of modern amenities yet with a hearty fireplace and antique furniture. Kitchen and bathroom facilities are excellent, everything was clean and you have all you need. Breakfast provisions are beautifully prepared - the farm fresh eggs are amazing!

For those who do not mind travelling just a bit more to and from Hobart and want a difference experience from hotel, this is an excellent choice. You are so close to nature yet close enough to all surrounding attractions near Hobart.

Try to arrive before night fall. We made a mistake arriving late first night but Hana patiently guided us to the door and took the time to explain how everything works in the cottage. We truly thanked her and the family (and the dogs) for being such a great and friendly host!

Room Tip: We stayed at the spa cottage which is spacious enough for 2 and had an excellent (and new) spa.

My wife and I stayed at Daisy Bank Cottages in December 2014. Upon arrival we were greeted with a warm welcome and were lucky enough to meet the two beautiful Smithfield sheepdogs Charlie and Patch!

The cottage we stayed in was brilliant - clean, spacious and oozing genuine rustic charm, we couldn't have asked for a better first taste of Tasmania! The facilities are fantastic too, the complimentary breakfast of free range eggs, bacon, bread, butter and coffee being a great way to start each day.

We were allowed to walk around the farm property, taking in the view from up on the hill and patting some horses along the way, a lovely way to spend a couple of hours.

Daisy Bank is situated in the heart of the Coal Valley wine region and about 20 minutes from Hobart, the cottages are the perfect base to discover what the south coast of Tasmania has to offer.

Thanks to our wonderful hosts, we will definitely be back!

We stayed for two nights in the spa cottage and had a really nice time. The cottage has been done with a lot of attention to detail: from a well equipped kitchen, lovely furniture to child proof wood burning stove. We liked the friendly owners and their dogs and enjoyed hiking on the farm. The breakfast supplies were excellent. We'd be happy to stay here for longer.

We had a lovely 4 night stay at Daisy Banks, we have two small kids and thought it would work better than staying in Hobart. It was the right decision. Our kids had the best time collecting eggs, playing with the dogs and little lamb. The cottage is really pretty and the breakfast provisions delicious. I recommend it.

Having stayed in 3 different accommodation in our family Tasmanian trip, this was by far the best. We were greeted by friendly owner of the property who took the time to explain the facilities within the cottage, as well as what was happening on the farm. The cottage had nice balanced country style interior, with good mixture of modern amenities, especially the bathroom which had a nice spa bath. The place was spotless clean. We all loved the fireplace warming us. The kitchen had all the utensils needed to cook a meal. We were provided with electric blanket and extra blankets. I would recommend this place to anyone!
