Wonderful destination wedding location for our dear friends. Beautiful hotel, so original and unique - I felt that I was immersed in the true experience of Mexico in its lovely beaches, generous spirit, natural beauty. From the beginning, owners Eva and Jim made us feel so welcome. A far cry from the sterile high-rise or condo environment, these rooms are built with natural local materials. The grounds, gardens and walkways are created from a variety of materials and beautiful native plants, all so clean and swept by the lovely staff. It's rare to find a location that feels so organic to its surroundings, but holds to such a high standard of excellence. Nothing high-tech intrudes here although there are air-conditioned rooms and you can get wi-fi although I never tried. Instead you live in a way in concert with not separate from this region and climate - careful water use, screened rooms, fans, thick walls, trees for shade, the ocean with its warm waves and sand. For the extra cooling, the unintrusive infinity pool just steps away. Eva and Jim have built this hotel over 20 years and the organic nature of its growth shows in every detail.

It was opening night for the 2016-17 season and we went for dinner here. We hadn't been to the area in 5 years and JP (restaurant owner) still recognized us! We had forgotten our money and we were going to go to town to the ATM machine and JP just said, "no problem, just come back and pay tomorrow!" Wish the world was a lot more like that these days! So, we had a delicious dinner with organic ingredients and came back the next day to pay! Excellent food, staff, and atmosphere! In fact, we're going back tomorrow night ( with money!) :)

Haceinda eden was just amazing. The staff and owners were very nice and made you feel at home. I loved this place. The hotel was super clean and up to date. The massage from Annie was amazing, highly recommend. This hotel was exactly what I was looking for. Peace and quiet. Lots of friendly people and great beach time. The sound of the ocean at night was amazing. We stayed in room 5. The view was amazing. The restaurant was excellent as well. The French toast is to die for. This place was just wonderful and will be returning again. My new favorite place to vacation.

Hacienda Eden is located on Manzanillo Bay. The bungalows are large and very comfortable with a view of the ocean. The staff are considerate and friendly. The food in the restaurant is outstanding. I would definitely return here. I recommend it to all that want a get-away in a quiet relaxing place. The location is on the bay. The pool looks out over the ocean. For birders it is special as a walk around the area one can spot many birds to add to your list. The orange breasted bunting is endemic to this area.

Room tip: All the rooms have ocean views. I like the bungalows.

This is a fantastic property, oozing with character and charm. It's a peaceful place with not much going on, but that is the draw for most I think. We stayed in a suite and loved it, though all the rooms seemed great. The location, Manzanillo Bay, is a picturesque setting, close to the village of Troncones (south) and Majahua (north). We enjoyed daily shell collecting, bike rides along the uncrowded roads and just hanging out. The restaurant is fantastic and salsa music on Friday nights is festive. The pool was great for our 6 year, old as the ocean was a little rough for him. This is a really wonderful place to spend some time. Bring a book (or several) and enjoy.

Room tip: All seem great. Book a suite if you need AC.
