I stayed here for 2 nights and it was clean and a good location; however, the rooms are dated and tired and there is not much soundproofing between rooms. The front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Our third stop on our west coast trip. Upon entering, we were treated to the sight and sound of a very drunk person, who wandered away eventually into a side room with slot machines. Beds were comfy, the rooms were adequate, but quite small. Everything was clean, but no holder for the toilet paper in the bathroom: strange. Lighting was a bit difficult, and there were no luggage stands. Our supper and breakfasts were good, and the dining room service was excellent. There was a boil-water advisory in effect, and we were given 500 ml. bottles of water each. Next day,I asked for a second one at the front desk, and was refused. So, not impressed with the service. The view of the harbour is in the distance : the parking lot and the shopping centre are closer in view.

We had a room that was large and was able to adequately accommodate our luggages. There is an attached restaurant and we had a delicious buffet dinner of cod au gratin, lasagna, etc. Afterwards, were entertained by a local singer.

Upon our arrival we were advised by the front desk we had one of the largest rooms and she was not kidding. The room was huge, clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful with any questions we had for the area. Recommend staying.

We stayed two nights here while on a motorcycle trip to Newfoundland, first the hotel is on a hill and there are limited parking spaces that don't slope, which normally isn't a problem but it is if you're on a motorcycle. When we checked in we where given an advisory to not drink the water, the hotel supplied us with bottles of water to brush our teeth with. We were looking for a laundromat to wash our clothes and the housekeeper told us to sit our laundry by our door and they would do it, they not only washed our clothes but folded them. The onsite restaurant serves delicious local fare. Staff at both the hotel and restaurant go out of their way to make you comfortable and have stories about the community and things to see. We stayed in a king bed suite that had a jacuzzi tub when i filled it i found out why you don't drink the water, the water was yellow. Besides the water and parking this place was outstanding and I would stay there again if i was in the area.
