The hotel and its gardens made an ideal base for four nights. The pool is the outstanding feature. Rooms can be a bit small and, as many have commented, the bathrooms/showers need to be improved and the beds are a bit saggy. If I was critical the whole place smelt of cigarette smoke.
The breakfast buffet was comprehensive and impressive.
This hotel is owned by an Italian family so the restaurant is remarkable by the influence of pasta and risotto dishes on the menu. These are very good and authentic. Choosing alternative French dishes can be expensive and are not of a good enough standard. Beware portions are huge.More
