We stayed here one night while attending a concert at SEMO. What a lovely home and what lovely owners. Tom and Terri were most hospitable, gave us good restaurant choices and answered our many questions. We shared the upstairs suite with our friends. One room had a bathroom with shower in the room and the other had a bathroom just down the hall. The beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. The home is just a few blocks from Main street shopping and antiquing and is only three blocks from the River Campus where we attended the concert. Very convenient. We had a great stay!

Tom and Terry are great hosts, very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the smaller room, which is plenty large enough for two, and everything about the room is comfortable. The house is two blocks from the historic district - great location.

I only stayed for one night- however everything about the Bed and Breakfast was excellent! Mr. Neumeyer is a friendly chap, very helpful with travelers in making arrangements for the stay and locating places of interest in downtown. The home is very much as I expected, a typical Midwestern home with lots of warmth and friendly comfort from the Neumeyer family. Do not miss staying in this home! It is very much at the center of 'The Cape' and the price is well worth the reservation. Also, if you get a chance do sit and have a chat with Mr. Neumeyer about the history of the town. He is very knowledgable of the area and can help you better explore and enjoy the sites of the city. Will stay here again in the future!

The Neumeyer B&B is the perfect place for a relaxing stay in Cape Girardeau. Flowers, trees & birds abound as you make your way up the steps to this bungalow style Bed & Breakfast. Goldfish and two friendly cats greet you as you come and go. Room was very inviting, comfortable and quiet. Each morning, I would sneak out on the front porch to enjoy the quiet peaceful morning with a cup of coffee, a good book and nature. Tom & Terry are the perfect hosts and seem to go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Breakfast was amazing, but the friendly conversation was even better. Appreciated the cold water provided for guests. The B&B is within walking distance to downtown shops, restaurants, pubs and downtown events like First Friday with the Arts, outdoor concerts and Saturday morning market.

My husband and I stopped here on our way to Alabama for our own self-style history tour and this was the perfect place for our first stop. The hosts, Tom Neumeyer and his wife, were great and knew everything about Cape Girardeau. Breakfast was perfect with good coffee, which is a rarity. Then when we set off, they gave us plenty of information on what to see in downtown Cape before we left.
The house is also beautifully decorated and functional. Many places have so much stuff there's no room for your stuff, but this is not the case here.
Finally, the price is exceptionally reasonable. If we ever get near Cape Girardeau, this is where we'll stay.
