Owner description: Over a million toys dating as far back as the colonial days. You'll see toys you had, toys you wished you'd had, toys you wish you had back and toys you forgot all about having had. A wonderful trip down memory lane.

This is a great walk with the memories for the older group and a 'wow, neat toys' for the much younger kids. For me...why is this with that? I felt it unorganized with the year or the toy grouping. There were a lot of toys and exhibits there, some will spark memories, as did in me.

Didn’t know what to think about this destination. Bought tickets based on other Trip Advisor reviews. Upon arrival, met one of the owners and the magic of this place was instantly unlocked for us. Memory triggers are everywhere in a great way— first Barbie? They’ve got one just like it here. The green army action figures seen in movies or found in the attic from generations ago?— also here. One of the neatest gems was an exhibit “Life In the 50’s”... the literal childhood bedroom of Paul Harvey Jr. Those from Chicago and the Midwest will recognize the name immediately.

There are two buildings and many levels to explore. Meeting the owner upon entry was very special as she came to chat with us occasionally and provided even more context for how and why she and her husband built this shrine to everyone’s childhood.

Remarkably, the wrist bands would have also provided entry the next day at no charge if we had been able to return.

Also, if you are lucky enough to be there on a day the local Train Society (can’t remember the name) has admission hours, stop in. (They rent space from the museum on the lower level). The trains, set-up and detail are very impressive.

We had adults, teens and you get kids. We all had a great time, there are a couple buildings to look through. It was a good time remembering when.

Out of the 8 days in Branson, it rained for 6, so we had to get creative with our stay. We spent a few hours here. Our kiddo was impressed with the toy train.

It was interesting, but the place is cramped and stuffy. We did enjoy most of the toys. The price is a little steep, I thought.
