My niece's wedding was held over the first weekend in May 2016. We booked 17 rooms for Saturday night at the Isle of Capri hotel so that the "younger" crowd would have something to do after the wedding. It turns out that the only thing one can do at this property is wade through dense smoke, drink and gamble. There was no nightclub and the pay per view UFC and HBO boxing matches were not being shown on any monitor. While the younger crowd had fun visiting and watching my brother loose his shirt at craps, the older crowd (and by older I mean 50+) went to bed. The price per room was high for the amenities offered at the site. The staff was GREAT. Even on their way home staff would offer a pleasantry and ask bid you good luck if you were going to the casino. Given that I am not the demographic (I find $25 entry blackjack a bit steep) I personally will not stay there again. $200+ to stay in a small (but very clean and comfortable) king size room was a bit much given the smell of cigarettes on my clothes and the resulting headache.
