I booked here for my partner for his birthday and we has the king suite and dinner booked. I called ahead and asked for a bottle of champagne to be put in our room for an extra suprise and arranged to take a balloon in a box to have on our dinner table. Upon arrival it was very busy but was in a fantastic little village and the locals at the bar were very chatty and friendly. We were shown to our room which was huge! It has its own lounge area, bedroom with double jacuzzi, wet room and bathroom. We were very impressed. There was however no champagne in the room so I had to ask rather quietly the lady that showed us to our room I had ordered some. Not 5 mins later but Phil the person I had called ahead to brought it personally to our room and took my balloon box away. We then had to wait over an hour to get the tub to fill up. The hot water takes forever! Which is the only real down side to this room. The water pressure means it's filling the tub with a trickle. My partner was getting quite impatient. I have patience so did not mind so much. I sat on the edge and watched a movie with my feet dipped in drinking our champagne as there is a huge wall mounted TV above the tub....More
