This is a quaint little restaurant that everyone will enjoy. Breakfast is served all day long and it's definitely worth the wait.

The portions are smaller than you would imagine but they are quite filling. If you try the pancakes, you definitely need to try the duck butter. It is a FABULOUS alternative to syrup.

Service is very friendly and the prices are reasonable.

Definitely a restaurant I will go back to!

After watching a Mississippi State football game, we wandering to the quaint Starkville downtown. Quaint stores , which must have a hard time competing with the chains around the outskirts of town.
The cafe had no frills southern comfort food. I had a coke in a bottle, and the 6 dollar plate. Which consisted of chicken fried steak, dirty beans and mash potatoes and gravy.

I've never had anything that wasn't good at Starkville Cafe. For breakfast - short stack of pancakes with a side of bacon. Those loaded hash browns are pretty spectacular, too. You've got to try a blue plate for lunch! The chicken spaghetti is my favorite.

We visited simply for coffee and were very much welcomed. As Brits, we particularly enjoyed seeing the local Sherriff in there with his friends clearly sharing the town issues of the day.
