Traveling from NC to TX, we were craving Thai food. We trusted all the good reviews and went to Faraway Places. It did not disappoint. Yes, it looks and feels like a dive, but when you pull up and local police are eating there, you know it's bound to be good. I would absolutely go there again.

Hmmm... Place is bizarre... First of all it's in a trailer.... A scary trailer. Looks like people live in vans around property. The food is pretty good, the wait is sooooo long. The drinks are expensive ... They poured wine out of a box and charged me $7!! Sometimes they add tax to beer... Sometimes they don't. Very creamy and smokey inside. Ordered take out and the price was the same but we it was half the size ... That was the last straw.

Good Thai food in a unique setting. Liked the pickled something-or-other in the pad thai. I thought the carrot salad was just okay but my companion liked it quite a lot. Absolutely worth going just for the experience, and the food makes it better yet.

Been there several times. Good food, great atmosphere and cool decoration (walls are covered with old posters, etc.) Small area with couches to relax, warm welcoming staff and large portions. I recommend it.

Small hole in the wall atmosphere was nice, but even expecting Americanized Thai food, this was too much; the predominant taste of my dish was oregano and the meat was ground beef.
