“"Brown Water is normal here"”
Reviewed 18 March 2012

Was definitley the closest to the location we needed, but as for food- your choices around are fast food and shoneys... I asked about the water, which was this yellow/brown in the sink/tub/toilet, and they said it was normal in the area...ok fine, but then you take off the back of the toilet tank and it's all mildew and rust.... Mosquitos are everywhere and our door was so complicated the handle had to be turned in such a way for it to open and to keep it closed. The front desk was nice, but the breakfast (muffins and bagels) ended at 9 :/

The beds are sooo squishy that if youre sleeping with someone, be prepared to force-snuggle

Stayed here for one night. The hotel is an average hotel if you just want a place to sleep. If looking for comfort, I wouldn't stay here for more than one night. The water was brown and the lighting in the room was poor. The mattress was way too soft. The microwave had a big rust spot on it and the room was in need of a good dusting. When I needed an outlet to plug in my phone charger, I had to pull the mattress from the wall to find one that was not in use, and to my surprise, there was trash, dust, and a hair roller on the floor. I slept with my socks on and long pants just in case something might crawl on me. The best thing about the room was the television and the shower. The next morning as I left my room, a "panhandler" yelled at me from the Shoney's next door to buy him breakfast. I will not be staying here again.

Room Tip: My room in the back (next to the Shoney's) was quiet and away from the street.

This place is disgusting. Water was BROWN. Brown water coming out of the sink and shower. Sheets were stained, towels were stained. Rug hasn't been cleaned in years, sheets were very thin. at least no bed bugs! I checked as soon as I got into the room. The ceramic bottom of one of the lamps by the bedside table was broken. loud trucks passing by on highway in morning, loud.

overall, i wanted to get out of here as fast as i could. DO NOT STAY.

Room Tip: no elevator, AVOID this place.

Older hotel, our room smelled "old". Dirty carpet, comforter had koolaid stains. Fingerprints were all over the dressing mirror, even on the top ( person must have been 8 feet tall to reach that part of the mirror??). Later found out the town itself is not a nice place to stop. Wish we would have driven another 20 miles to Lake Village.
