I haven't been to this park in 15 years. The park has really grown. It offers a great low cost cafe, walking tracks and heaps of play equipment for kids to play on. Also has plenty of car spaces so you can visit the wonderful park

Will be back soon!

Brimbank Park is in East Keilor. You can get there on the Western Ring Road. The park is in its natural state mostly. This is not a great park for scenic beauty, but is a good place for a picnic.

I have driven past the entrance many times without even realising what it was. One day curiosity got the better of us and we drove in. What a surprise we got.

The park is huge! This place can cater for any size BBQ group you could care to imagine, there are walks in a lovely tree lined valley, the kids play areas are thoughtfully designed and interesting for all ages.

We will be going again and this time with food!

Brimbank Park is a great asset for families and groups to BBQ, meet, take a leisurely walk or use the hills for fitness training. There is a cafe down in the park (good coffee) and a children's adventure playground.
Early morning in the park the birdlife is loud and raucous, if you look closely you may see possums and you will see rabbits. As the park is close to the airport if you are there at the right times you get a close up of the planes arriving and departing.
The Maribyrnong River runs through the park, paths run along the river bank and through a wetlands area. It is peaceful and serene but full of life. It was once a family farm belonging to the initial settlers of the area, the historical society of Keilor have put in signs to tell visitors of the history of the park.
