Located in an old bed and breakfast. Quaint and historic setting. Excellent food quality with filet Mignon and sunchoke soup as standout dishes. Good fresh fish specials depending on what’s being caught in nearby Gulf.
Full bar with friendly bartender.....a great place to sit while waiting on your table. Worth a trip from New Orleans and other Gulf Coast towns

We dined here last night with family who had flown in from out of state. We sat in the front dining room along with 2 other large tables. A table of locals next to us were so loud we couldn’t even have a conversation amongst our family. One lady in particular had a screeching high pitched voice. We asked to be moved to another room and nothing was available. When an elderly lady at the table next to us stood up and asked that they be quite they only got louder. We asked the management to assist and they didn’t do anything. After the lady stood up we all threw our hands in the air and left without even finishing our entrees. Management not capable of handling their clients. As we left the dining room the table made lewd comments to us. Complete disaster. This is supposed to be fine dining not a Sports Bar. Horrible dining experience.

Had eaten here before and had a very positive experience; hence, the return. This was entirely different. Service was terrible. We had to wait awhile to even be acknowledged. Could not get drinks delivered. Bar was very backed up, evidently, but just looking for wine which should not take long. This was not an order for a specially made crafted cocktail, just wine. The glass ordered as a pre-dinner drink came in the middle of the appetizer. The glass ordered for dinner did not come until the middle of dessert. The food seemed off as well. One diner did enjoy the BBQ shrimp and grits, but the crab and mushroom cheesecake appetizer was burnt and very dry. We asked the waitress for descriptions of some items and were not at all accurate when delivered. We had to wait quite long for the check, as did the table next to us. The waitress told both tables that there was a long line for the register. You would think a busy restaurant may have a quicker check-out system. We are not picky patrons, as you can see from other reviews. Hard not to please- but this was an overall unfortunate experience.

Enjoyed a great meal at this Downtown special stop. This is a converted home into a nice trstaurant. White table clothed tables set the mood. We went on a rainy Sunday morning after mass. The have a brunch menus as well as a regular menus. We decided on a salad and sandwiches. The serve a delicious scone to munch on while waiting for your meal. Great Bloody Mary,on Sundays $3.00. Salads were fresh and dressings delicious. Both grilled chicken and BLT sandwiches were great. Topped meal with the best bread pudding we have had in Mississippi so far. Did not mind the price for a great experience and delicious meal! Service, food and value was superb!
